I made it very clear that I could not find a single angry white person Tweet. Seemingly no one was upset, or thought anything close to "poor white people". You should be a journalist. You could specialize in making Buzzfeed headlines, with an-angry-for-no-reason, irrational bent.

This has nothing to do with the owners. The owners would crack immediately if people cared about the issue enough. Right now the effort is building, and I think it's pretty obvious that at the bare minimum the Redskins will end up changing their name.

 

I find it harder to believe that the Indians, Blackhawks, Braves, and others will, who seem to be celebrating native americans, but who knows. The Fighting Sioux changed their name, and I thought that was celebrating them as well.

 

As you know from my previous post that you read so well, I don't actually care about the names at all, and if people are offended and want them changed, I'm great with it.

He is essentially saying that all "Indian" logos and all fans of Indian logos are racist white people.

 

There is a double standard with his actions, since if it was a white anchor, wearing a BLACKS shirt (which is essentially what happened today with Bomani); that person would have been immediately fired and been labeled a racist for life. I don't feel like this is even slightly disputable, but I would be willing to listen to an argument.

 

Initially, my main beef with this whole situation was everyone talking about all the angry white people, when no one could actually find any of these "angry tweets". Most people thought it was funny and wanted to know where to buy one, myself included.

 

Another point of frustration for me is why Bomani would decide that only white people are to blame for the naming situations, but not the players that willingly playing for and wear the "racist" uniform of these teams. What about them? Why did black people think this was hilarious on Twitter today? Black people are in the EXACT same boat as whites on this issue. Those team names are in their cities, just as they are in ours... yet it's only white people that need a wake up call? Seems really strange.

If I saw dan in public, like at a bar, or casino, I know exactly what I'd do. I'm 6'5, very broad shoulders. I have a sizable beard now, longish hair, and have been told by 3 strangers I look like Opie from Sons of Anarchy, so I can look pretty scary, should I decide to look scary. So I would start mad dogging him, with just a furious scowl. First from a distance.. and then I would walk up, right next to him, and scowl until he says something or is obviously upset. And when he does say something, I will stare right into his eyes, with a look of rage, and angrily start singing, right in his face..
