jmbreslin 0
Please go somewhere else if you're going to not read the thread, post irrelevant content, and then post with an inflammatory attitude like this. The group was not having a problem with unconverted preflop HHs, everyone isn't going to change what was working to accommodate you. The question at hand is perfectly clear.I personally prefer converted hands, just saying. All you have to do is delete the stuff you don't want after you convert.

Or change your game there and actually see some flops? edit: manage to get first on the same tourney fivestonez finished second =)Protecting your stack when you're in the final 3 of a 45-man? Nah, you're going for the win. The call is fine, he's shoving a wide range and you'll be a flip fav over a good portion of the range he's shoving. The times he shows up with a bigger PP are also balanced against the times he's shoving hands like A2, A3, K2s, etc., and you're actually a bigger fav than a flip.As for heads-up, I'm usually shoving/folding because the blinds tend to be so high at that point (assuming a turbo). But sometimes you'll find yourself with fairly even stacks, both with >10BB, and then sometimes I'll use the minraise instead.

I've heard of tilt trying to enforce the poker table ratings, but that's it.
Eba12 0
Is pokertracker allowed? Cause I like the HUD display things. Just so I get a bit more attention without watching my table all the time. And what exactly is sng wizard for kinda program? Its just analyzing tournaments AFTER you played them? Or does it work realtime aswell?

Just so I get a bit more attention without watching my table all the time. And what exactly is sng wizard for kinda program? Its just analyzing tournaments AFTER you played them? Or does it work realtime aswell?Yes, poker tracker is allowed, because it's a database of hands that you've played. You have the right to that information. Sharing databases on the other hand is not allowed.SNG wizard is for analyzing ICM. It is for analyzing after you have played, not during gameplay. It does not work in real time. RakeMyBlind 0
This is early in a micro 6-handed Turbo SNG. No reads/previous experience with villian. I would like feedback on what line most people take with mid-pairs in early position. Is it OK to standard open here, or would limping be better? Is open folding here OK? Any feedback/advice would be welcome. As played, after my standard raise this is easy shove/fold and generally I fold in these spots. Is that good thinking not to want to be racing(at best) this early? Wow, I just asked alot of questions! GOCUBSGO 77
I like the standard open raise in a situation like this and def folding to the reraise. No need to race this early in the tournament. Limping is meh ok but I think raising > limping > open folding.

supfreak26 0
Hey everyone! Noob to the board here.I am happy to see a thread like this as I love playing SNG's and I'm attempting to build my BR in 2010. I'm starting out at $30 and I'm looking to build it up as high as I can. I don't have a ton of time to play so I'm not setting any time limits. My ultimate goal would be to build my BR to play $11 and $22 SnG's. 45 man tourneys are my bread and butter and I'm currently grinding the $.25 SnG's on Pokerstars. I'm looking at moving up levels when I reach 40-50 BI's. I will move down when necessary. I'm staying away from turbos because I suck at them. I know the rake sucks at $1.20 but I can't wait to get there. These quarter tourneys are killing me!

Once you get a taste of turbos you'll wonder how you ever had the patience for regular SnGs. I prefer regulars myself but you can play twice as many turbos in the same time.Anyway, since everyone is posting their goals I might as well do the same. Goal for January is to play at least 100 $3.40 STTs and finish with an ROI of at least 5%, while throwing in some $3.25 45's here and there. Stars bankroll is only ~$135 at this point (got mixed up between my Stars and Tilt rolls in an earlier post) so I need to stick with the $3's for a while before I can move up.
