Just the word FTP makes me want to lob off an arm.....cant believe people still play there
only things i will really play are FTOPS/mini and KO/Matrixes. AKA things that i believe can be really profitable that i cant already do on stars.sample size increased a little...still @ 167%.

If I'm being retarded here, let me know...I seem to believe that based off this and knowing how things have gone:DaemonReich 18 $5 $7 92% $92 - 75 FullTiltThat grinding $3.30 Turbo 90 man KOs and $7.50/$15 Super Turbo Matrixes can have a 55% sustainable ROI.Thoughts?

90 KOs, yes, probably on the high side but 50% could be achievable long term. Anything super turbo, not a hope.

I play at FT ATM, but once I actually make my first deposit and clear the bonus, I'm back to PS.
The one thing Stars is missing is rakeback. When are they going to wake up and realize they could completely monopolize the online poker industry if they offered rakeback? There are probably tens of thousands of people who play on Tilt for that single reason.

This. 64 suited or not is a snap fold at these early levels. Save your chips for later.

I don't use PT but that sounds very high. You may be getting involved in too many hands. Either that or you are not betting high enough to steal blinds or push people off their draws.

That is exceptionally high. I've never used PT for tourneys, but I would hypothesize that WTSD numbers should be a bit higher than for cash games because of the higher frequency of all-in showdowns. Still, though, 57.5% is very high. Standard for a typical TAG is usually in the area of 25-30%.There are two possible explanations for a high WTSD over a large enough sample:1) You're playing very passively, letting opponents get to showdown2) You're calling way too often, going to showdown when you shouldn't beYou'd have to look at your other stats to determine which is the more likely explanation, such as W$SD and your postflop aggression stats. A typical TAG player will have stats like 27% WTSD and 54% W$SD, while calling stations will have stats like 40% WTSD and 45% W$SD.I would be shocked if your W$SD was over 50% with a WTSD that high.

That seems really weird because everything shows that you are fairly TAG. AF is pretty good and fairly aggressive. My guess is your sample size is just too small. Or, nobody respects your raises :club: I'll post my stats from STTs later when I get home for comparison.

Thinking about it more, in turbo tournaments WTSD is definitely going to be very high. In deeper stacked tournaments not so. I really don't think it's a stat you need to worry about. If it's a sign that you have glaring leaks then other stats will more obviously reveal that.

Yeah I guessed it had to to something with the high blinds compared to stack sizes and the mass amount of shoving in the later stages of turbos. What does TAG stand for btw? Google knew:P tight aggresive rite?

I looked it up out of interest, and my WTSD/W$SD is 52/54. If I ran at these stats in cash games I'd be a 10BB/100 winner. I'm not entirely sure what you can surmise from it in tournaments.
I just looked up my own stats and I'm 48/55. I guess I really underestimated the impact of shoving in tournies when I posted my initial response.

lol, I'm 57.19/55.94 overall. This year I'm 64.2/60.34. I run good so far :club:

I'm shocked, I thought I would be higher than almost anyone since I'm a showdown monkley. I guess it's just relative to what you play. If you play nothing but turbos its gonna be huge. Recently there are more normal speed MTTs in there which are probably lowering it.

These pokerz iz eazy!!I'm really killing these $.10 360-man turbos. After watching that 45-man video posted in this thread, I applied those concepts to these tourneys and it's really working. I realize that I'm probably just on a heater but I think I might have found the game for me. I've avoided turbos because of the luck factor and high variance but I like the fast pace and the potential to easily play a serious amount of tourneys as opposed to regular speed tourneys. Since my goal is to build a BR as fast as possible, this seems like the right way to go.Most importantly, I'm having fun for the first time in a while. I'm making a small deposit tonight and will start grinding the $1.10 45-mans immediately. I'm only going to be running at 40 BI's to start so if I hit a significant downswing, I'll jump down to $.10 or just deposit a small amount to keep me going. I want to hit a minimum of 50 BI's before moving up but I'll only move up if I feel that I am ready and I'll always be willing to move down if I hit a wall. The goal is to grind it to $1000 so I can play the $12 45-man turbos and start mixing regular speed tourneys and big MTT's in. The downside of playing the turbos is the total lack of post-flop play. The upside is that it's teaching me to loosen up my game and play more aggressively. I've always been a bit of a nit.

Turbos are great tools for aggression training because you spend a lot more time playing shortstack poker, which forces you to become more comfortable shoving your stack in the middle. I think the super turbos I'm playing will actually be a big help for honing that aspect of my game because they're great shortstack training tools. They'll likely be more helpful for the late stages of 45-turbos because the circumstances are so similar to the super turbo STTs. I hit a bit of variance last night, posting my first (marginally) losing session since I started playing them, but I'm still loving the super turbos.

Stay out of $12s for a while. They've become insanely reg-heavy since TheLipoFund put his video out on 2+2.
