No, 5BB is really short. Are you sure you're not thinking M rather than BB? 10BB is pretty standard as push/fold territory.
lol?try surviving using 10BB as your barometer @ 200/400+ blinds in 45 mans and let me know how that goes for you.

MTTs the usual rule of thumb is no more than 5% of your bankroll, due to higher variance in SnG's I would say no more than 1 or 2 percent, but I'm a nit.Have at least 50 buy-ins for the level you want to move up to.

No. Both are at maximum 2.5%.

Okay, I see what you mean. Your post sounded like you make a deliberate choice to wait until 5BB to push, which is very different from finding yourself at 5BB because of high blinds and lack of opportunity.

only hand that makes sense that he has is AQ/KQ/QJ and you have him crushed. I'm snapping all day no way I'm folding an overpair on that flop with that PF action to someone I have covered.

Hand 1, I probably pass seeing as it's still fairly early. I iso with AK TT+. I'd be tempted though because of your stack size.Hand 2, I'm shipping.

Even though Hero's M is about 4 and he's about to get hit by the blinds in two hands? Clearly it's a borderline hand, which is why I posted it. I folded, but I'm wondering how close it might be.

i thought about those hands, but also threw in Q10 and 810 as well.
There are so many hands in his range besides the ones that have you beat. It's a very strange move for a TAG to make, I'll admit, but it would also be very strange for him to shove a hand that flopped big here.

Hand 1: I'd pass, you're behind his range and losing the 900-ish chips will hurt your tournament equity more than winning the 900 will boost it.Hand 2: Wow, still almost a full table at 300/600? With about 10BB in CO I'm shipping AT. You don't want to risk a standard raise getting called and then having to play postflop here.
