DrawingDeadInDM 0
Probably just gearing up for the Notre Dame gig when Kelly inevitably falls on his face. Really though.. pretty staggering. Who the eff do they hire? One of the Stoops brothers?
Voldemort 0
I think we hear something big soon. Along the lines of cancer, etc.He is not doing this to go elsewhere. I honestly think it's health related.

DrawingDeadInDM 0
He's not a sexy hire, but Dan McCarney would win there.

Sam Donaldson 0
Spurrier back to Florida obv.
CaneBrain 96
They are reporting Meyer experiencedchest pains after the SEC championshipgame.I also read an SI article where Meyertalked about having stress related health issues early in his career. Sothis is not out of left field.I think mike stoops makes a lot ofsense. This really changes everythingon the college football landscape.I wonder if the Gators will lose someof their current stellar recruit class.

BigDMcGee 3,357
I bet Brian Kelly wishes he could go back in time and not accept the ND job so quickly. I would LOVE it if spurrier went back and got this job.I'll tell you what this reminds me of, it reminds me of Dick Vermiel's first retirement, right after he lost the superbowl as eagles coach. He was at the top of the game, was a young man a talented coach, and just walked away 'cause he couldn't handle the stress. Really, it reminds me of Madden too. People forget how young he was when he retired. Anyway, It's too bad, Meyer was the best coach in college football right now, and I don't even think it was really close. dna4ever 2
It's the college version of Brett Favre ....Change of mind: Urban Meyer won't quit, will take indefinite leave instead
speedz99 145
I like the decision not to just quit. People in sports are rarely open about leaving themselves options.
