lurbz 2
how in the hell can you survive on $25.00 worth of food per week?1 person on $25 a week?Pasta for 2 days worth of lunch/dinner is like $1, sauce is like $2, sandwich stuff costs like $7 a week, drinks usually $4 a week if budgeted right, Oatmeal Creme Pies are like $1.89 for a box and serve as my breakfast, Bagels/English muffins are like $2, I'm 19 it's not like I'm a huge cook its pretty easy for 1 person to survive on $25 a week for food if done right. That being said the last 2 months or so I've been eating out a ton more than I eat in so my expenses are higher for those months but I had deep MTT results, that'll be changing once this rainstorm stops. Gonna hold myself to that $25 a week in groceries and go to store every Monday to do it, also not gonna spend money on useless vacations to Vegas/Flagstaff that just result in life tilt lsdlfajdsfa

Canary3 1
My girlfriend and I survive on about $115 worth of groceries every month. That's only like $57.50 on average per month. She loves to cook!EDIT: I feel like I'm cheating unless I mention that the 115 does not include when we eat out. We probably spend about $25-30 a week together eating out. I go out when I'm on a date but for me on my own I just don't care. Had woman in my life, broke up last week, so my spending is gonna go down quite a bit. Sucks cause she was a damn good cook too.Meh, I do what I need to do, in college so I'll work eventually but it definitely helps for being able to have a flex schedule and have a lot more freedom in terms of time. I don't plan to stay this way unless I really improve a ton of my game or become a 100NL/200NL reg with coaching.

MaxStPolish 4
It's all personal perspective I think. With my wife, we probably spend like 150 bucks a month at least on groceries and make good, full meals every night, not counting the $$$'s we spend every week/month going out for meals, etc. etc.If I was living alone, I could easily do the 25-50 bucks in groceries bit, eating egg sandwiches/hot dogs/pasta for like 100% of my meals. In fact, back in college that was exactly what I did. I'm guessing a lot of guys doing that bit now are in that age range. I say have fun with it guys.

lurbz 2
why is your whiskey in the freezer?hell if i know i used to keep it in the cupboard but for some reason all our booze is in the freezer.i guess im the only one who likes my whiskey warm around here?that def makes sense. when you get older, living off of that per week will def get old but it probably works out perfect while you're in college.Yeah definitely, if things come up I can take care of them instead of having to deal with getting days off work, etc. Also I'm backed so there's 0 risk on my part so I don't have to be a mega BR nit.
