360k just in time for some much needed attorney fees
Well, now he's got plenty of cash for smokes while he's in the joint. Was he arrested because he won the tournament and drew attention to himself or did one of the other guys rat him out after he won?
Too bad he won't have any of it....
On Sunday, Sek won the $364,364 grand prize in the B.C. Poker Championship at the River Rock casino in Richmond, although the police have asked the casino to hold Sek's winnings.

I wonder on what grounds they can withhold the winnings - it seems to be unrelated to his crime, so why would they want to open that can of worms and arbitrarily seize people's money?
If they can show that he was living off crime and not paying taxes that could be the angle or to compensate the victims survivors.
