$4.40 Nlhe, Questionable River Play

At this point I'm kind of new to the table, so I don't really have much information on the other players. I think I played this hand fine, but I'm wondering if my small bet on the river was the right move. I thought by betting 600 I could save myself a few hundred and maybe still represent a hand that wanted a call . What do you think of my line? Should I have check called, check folded, led out for more on the river, less? I'm always trying to get better so I appreciate all opinions and criticisms.

Please convert your hands and end it after your bet. Now that we see villain called the river it becomes unlikely he had Ax. IPITS, and lol when he turns over QJo

I would play it the same. I like the $600 bet. If you check and he bets 1000, then you are guessing, especially since you say you don't have much info on the player. If you bet 600 and he raises you significantly then it's an easy fold.

even thou we are full, the ace was not a great card for us on river (the worst in reality), it made hands we were betting at for value nw beating us, i fold to a shove, and frankly i like check call on river, we only beat a smaller boat, and on a double paired board they don't wanna go crazy here either

If villain is aggro, I like c/c better, there's not a lot we should be getting value from here. Aggro villains are more likely to bluff the river than they are to call with worse, and they are more likely to raise our blocker bet.
