Official **wsop Main Event Final Table** Thread

Just curious, why such a late start?
Ask ESPN or Harrahs. They want to keep leaks to a minimum. Unless you go to their site or watch tv shows

Really subtle last question from the dude butting in at the end. If I was Saout I'd have probably run my response past the translator, ya know, just to really make sure the interviewer knew what an utterly douchebaggy question he asked!
Yah, that question was really brutal. what an idiot.

ok wanted to get some opinions on this.. so i bet $200 on joe cada to win at 12:1 (yeah i run good) but now i wanna hedge my bet to lock up some profit. only problem is my sportsbook has moon listed at +200 to win, i feel like cada is a much bigger than 2:1 favorite to win at this point so am i just throwing away money by putting something down on the moon man now?
I believe betfair has Moon at +335 or so. Good thinking on the hedge. Cada has Moon completely outclassed of course, but unlikelier things have happened. Like...a backcountry logger sitting at a WSOP final table with 60 million in chips, sleeping his way through million-dollar decisions.I'd bet that Moon's IQ is either below 80 or above 125.

My apologies, I had never read this idea iterated on the forum before so I didn't realize it was common knowledge. Sorry for being so stupid amongst such a brilliant group of Internet contributors.
We understand. it's not like you are a Charter Member or anything.

Hasn't this thing started?
Starts at 10pm pst. I'm still debating on whether or not I should head down there. I don't think it will last that long :/

Head down there! When I was living there I made sure to attend any major poker event I could. Go have some drinks and talk shit to Moon supporters.

Heads Up in the 2009 WSOP Main Event restarts with Joe Cada with 137m chips Vs. Darvin Moon with 59m with blinds at 500,000/1,000,000 Gl to Joe Cada! What Polar opposites.http://www.cardplayer.com/poker-news/7922-...-of-poker-title“I’d be crushed,” said Cada, an online pro playing in his first WSOP main event. “I wouldn’t be able to sleep for some time.”“I was like a deer in the headlights back then,” said Moon, referencing his early on-camera interviews. “I have become a lot more comfortable with this … but I won’t be more available (to the public after the main event).” If anything, Moon appears to be a little concerned what his win might do in creating a new sort of poker boom since Harrah’s message of “anyone can win” may indeed resonate loudly with the viewing public should he win the main event. “I just hope they don’t put their life savings on the line to pick up this game. I hope they win a satellite somewhere,” said Moon. “I hope they don’t just ruin their life because of this.” While Moon says he’ll continue to stay out of the spotlight, Cada said he would relish an ambassadorial role that could come with a World Series victory. “I’d be very excited to take on that role,” said Cada, who said he would try to be active but would probably be more similar to the reserved Peter Eastgate than the outlandish Phil Hellmuth if he were to become the youngest world champion in history.
