SBriand 4
Don't know if anyone can answer but I will bet there is!I need a new cell phone and have been looking on ebay and such for unlocked phones. I have service with Tmobile. I found a phone that is Tmobile locked. Is that fine for me to get since I have service with Tmobile? I assume it is but before I spend $150 I want to make sure. I've never actually heard the term used in that way.

Fleur 0
As far as I know, if it's T-Mobile locked and you have a T-Mobile simcard it should not be a problem.
Jeepster80125 0
I have Verizon. I put a free clamshell phone on craigslist, and I had to contact Verizon to 'release' the phone so that another Verizon customer could use that phone. When I called Verizon, I was told that if I didn't 'release' the phone, that the buyer would not be able to use that phone on his number. This was a couple of years ago. SBriand 4
Just get an iPhone.... you'll never regret it.Except for the fact I would have to sign up with ATT and that is something I will regret. I was with ATT before TMobile and the differences have been staggering. Never get dropped calls, can actually use my cell phone in places I was not able to use ATT, and well, the price is hard to beat. We have my line, my wife's line, her parents lines, and my mom's line on our account and with 750 minutes + unlimited Txt and Web we pay $134.99/mo. and it's not a contract, we can quit at anytime with no penalty. Att wants much more per month and a 2 year contract. So yeah, no thanks. Thanks for all the other info. I did more research last night and actually talked to someone at Tmobile today and I bought an unlocked phone and they told me what I had to do to set it up once I get it so all good. Thanks.
