Been laughing about it all night (I've been at work, away from tv/computers since hearing the boy was ok.3. If the boy(s) were at fault, I'll write this one off as just an entertaining day of tv. You must admit it was entertaining -- sort of a "Timmy fell down the well" story with a high altitude twist.4. If it turns out the parents were behind this, they deserve whatever hell they get, including jail time for false claims to a police officer.5. Very dissapointed that BG never posted in this thread. However, there's money to be made in the near future by anyone making replicas of that balloon and selling them at the right place.edit: and on a totally random sidenote, Tori Spelling was in our casino tonight. I told another dealer that she was eating in the deli next to the poker room. We both started walking toward the deli and as we rounded a row of slot machines, she was right in front of us, walking toward us with a group of people. I pretended to be totally unaware and kept walking past them, while my friend stopped and said "There she is!", and just stared at her.purse snatch ftwedit: Christ is this place dead. AmScray 355 Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 The family in question was on an episode of Wife Swap where the mom came to St. Aug Beach (where I used to live)I sold the producers of that very episode the black Ibanez guitar the young kid played on for his little 'stop being a dork' task assigned to him by the mother of balloon boy. They bought it from me off craigslist. They also asked if I had any other instruments for sale- all prior to filming... When the show aired, it presented the storyline in such a way that baloonboys mom lived with the family, then out of disgust, decided to get them involved in music after seeing how they lived, as if it were some novel idea she came up with in response to their lifestyle.
