Juiciest Tables In Vegas

Recommended Posts

Just moved to Vegas, I plan on hitting the tables in the near future. But I figure since a decent number of you have played in the area and have visited many casinos, you know which places have the most donks/fish. I'm just your 1/2NL cash game donk if that helps :club:

Venetian is the best for 1/2 imo.Anywhere that offers 1/2 will have bad players, it is the typical tourist game, I just think Venetian has the best poker environment for that game. Very nice card room, lots of places to eat, etc.

Nah, my friend has his own sound studio and made the rap. I offered to make a video for him since I thought it was hilarious, so pretty much everything minus the audio was me :club:.

What brings you to Vegas? I grew up in MI too. Most 1/2NL games around town are pretty soft and don't vary too much from room to room. Most of it depends on personal preference, location, etc. Venetian in the nicest. Hard Rock is fun and plays good music. MGM has lots of games and players but only $200 max buy in (I prefer deeper stacks, partly because opening raises in live games are usually bigger than what you see online). IP is very soft but pretty small. Golden Nugget has no max buy in and is worth checking out sometime as it's a very nice property downtown. Also give the 1/3NL games at Caesars and Palms a whirl, they have $500 max buy ins.The Caesars Classic just started I believe, probably a good time to hang out at that room actually. The Venetian Deep Stack III starts later this month, check that out too even if you just play cash.

^^^Agree with Kurt though, Venetian 1-2 games are a tad tougher/tighter than other rooms And agree about the Hard Rock. Man...I really like this room, but it is so dead most of the time. Damn shame too...it is the sexiest room in Vegas. Good tunes too.

Now why would you want to leave shitty weather, 40% unemployment and the Lions?

Hey, we still got the red wings, even though they're starting out relatively shitty this season. And kuge, I'm seriously considering my SB trip to be Vegas now... I'll have "graduated" but finishing up one class and an internship, so I'll have the time... and hopefully the money. TP/MM PLSTHX

Yeah, any 1/2 game is gonna be soft as hell. Downtown doesn't have a max buyin so might be worth it for that. But I hear the mirage have good games.GL with the move and everything

I've only played mirage 1/2 twice and there wasn't any action either time. I think once I may have been at a table of 9 locals. You'll always come across local grinders at the Venetian but I've always found enough juicy tourists to keep the games profitable. Also the Bellagio 1/2 games are super soft when running - but overall service sucks there.

Do they still do the "HardRock Straddle" from the button? I think I straddled every time it came around to me.I friggin loved that place but it only had one 1/3 table and one 2/5 table on a Saturday evening, such a shame. At least I think it was 1/3, it's all kinda fuzzy as I was drinking the better part of the day. Which brings me to another reason I loved playing there. The bar is right there.--editI do remember the desk attendant kind of sucked. Since there was only 1 table running I got on the list with one or two in front of me. A new chick took over the desk and either they just cleared the list at shift change or something because I disappeared. I was sitting at the bar about 40 feet away too.

Yeah, very true comments about the Hard Rock. It would be the perfect room if they had more traffic. The new hotel towers opened recently and they were hoping that would improve things but I don't think it has. They spread 1/2 as opposed to 1/3.They still allow button straddles and you should do it every time. They also have Trash Talking Tuesdays where the 2/5NL has a mandatory straddle, trash talking and slowrolling is encouraged, and the dealers make fun of people. $2000 max buy in!Oh and they have Pacifico. And you can order food from the Pink Taco. The chicken nachos are sick.
