Wsop Circuit Event At The Horseshoe Hammond

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering if anyone is planning on playing some of the events at the WSOP Circuit event at the Hammond Horseshoe which is coming up next week. I intend to play one of the events on the first weekend. Can anyone (MJINK) shed some light on how many people typically play these events (or are expected), what the payout structure is like, how well run the tournaments typically are (I have not been all that impressed with past events at the Majestic Star and while I know the casinos are worlds apart, I am curious), how many people move on to the second day (when does play break for the evening)?

I'll be in Chicago from Oct 15th-26th for the entire World Series of Poker Circuit Event. I look forward to seeing a lot of you there again this year and hope to make some deep runs in the tourneys to follow up last year's circuit victory! :club: http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/tourney/tourneydetailsSchedule and structures for all tourneys link is above.WSOPC ME and the other structures look great. More chips, added levels and longer levels than last yr where it was very good anyways.

Enjoy all the beauty that is NW indiana :ts GL buddy!!And my simple hope of playing some 1/2NL on the main event friday has been dashed by work requirments. LAAAAAAAAAAAME. Wish I could convince myself to play the HORSE event.....but 350 would have been pretty stretching for me, I think 550 makes it an easy fold.

Did anyone else get sent a flyer for the tournaments that lists the wrong days? I received one in the mail last night and thought it was pretty bizarre.
It might be for the Southern Indiana Later this month

I made it to Day 2 of the first event, the $345 NLHE. The event had over 1,400 entrants, which I think is a WSOP Circuit record. The top 141 got paid, and there are 99 left going into tomorrow. First place is ~$70,000.I have 185,000 in chips with blinds 4000/8000/500. The average stack is around 130,000. Day 1 started at noon and ended at 4:00 a.m., so I am exhausted.I will be posting updates on my Twitter page when possible (twitter.com/mbreon). I have unregistered for the $555 event but GL to any FCP'ers playing in it!

I looked at it again. It says Hammond Horseshoe and has all the same events. They clearly printed up a set with the wrong dates.Congrats MBreon on the cash and keep it going.Good luck all in the $555.

Yea, busted in 52nd. I had a tough draw at the beginning of the day, and didn't have many good spots. I was able to chip up to about 235K from 180K, and then the busto hand. I had to skip the $555, but they had about 500 players in the field.I did however, run insanely well in the pits to make the weekend very profitable. I will probably play in the 1K tomorrow. Adam (vick12) and Justin (fluff) played the $555, but I don't think either cashed. I think that Fluff, Zimmer and I will be in the 1K, not sure if any other FCPers. For anyone around the Chicago area, the poker room was jam packed today, with big lines for all the NLHE games.
