XXEddie 0
Wasn't there another big Kenny Tran sicko call where he called with Jack high, for his tournament life, and was right when his opponent showed a busted open ended straight draw? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpiGCdu4VaoNot at all for his tournament life, but a sick call nonetheless. bigcoled 1
PA's call screams superuser abilities, Jesus that was sickNot really superuser, just when the board pairs jacks, with the way the hand was played, there was no chance he was losing at the 4-1 rate the pot was laying him w/ king high and the way the hand played out... lots of missed draw possibilities, I think you're blinded by the sheer dollar value which I'm sure does not factor into PA's decisions. I believe any better hand would feel they would get action moving all in. The board pairing the jack decreased the likelyhood of King high being beat enough, which makes the river call necessary. looshle 6
Kenny trans call isn't sick. It's Lhe and he's getting 7-1 that the guy has 78 or like t9ss. Can someone find his sick call bustout hand from the wsop where he called off on a fourflush board with top pair? And with hellmuth, he also folded qq to an open raise in a 5 handed sng with like 12 bbs. He misses out on A TON of value by never wanting to get it in without the nuts. You guys are being rediculously results oriented.

Felt like there were a lot of missed gutters and OESD in his range, plus missed flush draws, and occasionally some random overcard hands.Hand 2, though the guy had slowplayer tendencies, and could show up with trips or an overpair, he also rarely folded flop and would have a lot of missed gutters and flush draws in his range.Hand 3, the guy is a reg that hates folding in general, and especially hates folding vs me. We had a pretty aggressive dynamic, and I felt that he would 4bet pre with a lot of his bigger hands. I was pretty sure he was floating flop. Some gutters and OESD missed as well.Hand 4, the guy was a 96/40 and never folded preflop ever. He would also bluff whenever checked to. That one is not that special. troyomac 0
sick call bro, can you explain your thinking and how on earth you made that sicko callVillian had been playing a lot of crappy hands, and floating me with really weird stuff. He wouldn't float me with broadway cards on an A high flop though, he'd need some sort of draw. His river pot bets had been bluffs up to this point, and he'd bet like $12 on any of his value bets, so I was pretty sure he had a wheel draw based on my history with him. It felt really really really weird to be calling a pot sized bet with T high though, I don't recommend it often
rayen 0
I dont remember all the details but I was playing microstakes NL holdem and my opponent wasnt overly aggressive but more like selective aggressive, playing most his hands very aggressive on most streets. If I remember correctly my opponent was in middle position and raised like 5x the bb with around 50 bb stack. I was on button with hand like k8 s( I just remember it being raggy king suited). The flop came like 10 q 3 rainbow and was checked to me. I cbet 2/3 pot and my opponent tanks for a long time and finally shoves on me. Normally this would be a easy fold but sometimes I just get this feeling that my opponent is playing me and usually its around 85% correct. I made the call with k high and my opponent had a open ender like j9, came two bricks and took down the pot... for me its those moments that makes poker alot of fun

Jadaki 0
In the last 3 months,...I called a $250 bet over a $400 pot with A high and was right. (missed flush draw, lots of comments about how sick it was)I called a $150 bet over a $300 pot with K high and was right. (total monkey, lots of laughs at both of us.I don't call a lot of river bets with just a high card. People "bluff" a lot with small pairs, so bluff catching bluffs with a high card is kind of complicated. If I think a pair of 3s or 4s is good, I'll call and don't consider it to be too sick. It's MUCH harder to catch bluffs with a high card.Like the $400 dollar call I had on Brian with A high for a $1500 dollar pot. That was a fun hand.
Mercury69 3
My latest "sick" call (barely disguised bad beat whine):In the FT 100+9I have about 3700 (still first hour just coming up the break), been picking off a few pots here and there with next to no hands. I'm in LP, blinds are 40/80 or something. I have KK. Guy in MP2 shoves 4K stack. I'm thinking "If I call and lose to AA, then I'm OK with that, but I hould be calling in this situation because I likely have the shover crushed like a bug"I callShovetard turns up 82o (!?!?)Flop: x x 2Turn: 2River: x...and my tourney is over...The next few hands this guy kept shoving and everyone else who called him ended up winning. It took another 3 hands to completely wipe him out. None of the "winning" hands were equal to KK (I think they were AQ, J8 and a small pair).I think I'm still on tilt.
