squidboy 0
I have been looking for names of online pros that are either sponsored by one site and might also have a name on a different site. now i know on pokerstars they cant play on other sites but sites like full tilt some players have names on other site such as pokerstars. also looking for name sof players who dont have contracts for online sites but play online
GWCGWC 83
I'm pretty sure sponsored pro's on Stars are allowed to play online poker at any site they choose. Both Barry and Daniel have made that clear in the past.
Sick Boy 0
But why?

GWCGWC 83
I thought it was the other way around. Any link to DN/BG saying that?uh oh, I don't think I can produce the source. I'm almost positive I heard Barry say it on a pokerroad radio show. I can't remember where I heard DN comment on this. almost positive its the other way around. 0 Stars pros play on other sites.. ftp is another story thoI didn't think they were contractually forbidden to play on other sites. I'd speculate that the bigger names have deals in place that give them money for #hands or hours spent playing on site. This would help deter cross site play. If Barry or DN wanted to take on the big games at FTP I'm pretty sure they would be allowed too. One thing Stars has been great about doing as a site is not creating rules that they can't enforce. I would expect the sponsorship side of Stars takes the same stance. I'm wrong about something everyday so I it wouldn't surprise me if I'm wrong about this. I'm in no danger of getting a sponsorship deal with a site that would preclude me from playing on some other site I don't play on anyway. In other words, I don't care either way so I'm not sure why I even commented. Except, now I'm curious.
