FCP Bob 1,321
I seem to remember a certain offer drying up and going away as soon as someone wasn't working at the Wynn anymore.Still doesn't change the fact that the offer was out there and he took on people at what the other person thought was their best game and it was Daniel's money that was at risk not The Wynn's. No casino is going to risk that kind of money on a promotion that wasn't televised as the ecomomics of a live poker room just don't support it. They just don't generate that much money. If Ivey would make the same challenge not sure how much action he would get since most people probably don't think that they're as good as him even in their best games.where were the cameras at?It wasn't televised, just live at The Wynn cardroom. For the Durr promotion I would imagine the players are risking their own money but will be paid a fee like the players are on Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker and the fee will be much less than the money that they're risking. Daniel wasn't a big enough fish for other high stakes players to follow him to The Wynn and have the games there. From a fan's point of view the fact the Durr challenge will be on TV of course is great. "I have never really posted a challenge, Daniel's posted a challenge, I am just assuming everyone knows that I am going to play every game. That I am going to play anybody at every game. It used to be posted in his results forum, but I couldn't find it in there anymore.
