James D 0
looking for big performance from chelsea against fulham have Drogba, Terry and Essien in my teamNice call on the Drog, he's looking good, isn't he? Many were thinking he was finished after last year's CL against Barca, but he's right back at the very top of his game. If he keeps on like this, it'll be the difference Chelsea need to win things this season.Wondering whether he's better value than Torres right now... seems like it. Guess we'll find out more tonight. SBriand 4
I need Torres to have a big night since the rest of my fantasy team tanked it.So did anyone watch the Hull/Bolton match? It was fun watching Jozy in his first EPL game.

mrpaddyx 13
Big night for Torres, rubbish night for Liverpool. (James will be delighted) That is them lost as many games before the end of August as they did all last season!

I'm such a huge Jozy fan. Got to see him bag three in Nashville in April.also if my midfielders could wake up at some point, that would be gosh darn lovely
rinswun 6
i've just watched the hull/bolton highlights and i must say i was VERY impressed by altidore. reminded me of an Emile Heskey type target man with a better touch, could be a real find for Hull.

James D 0
have just made my transfer for the week as i am now away from my computer til monday. hoping no one gets injured and chelsea dominate burnley (urgh!). i've taken RVP out so he is bound to bang in a couple this weekend now. He's out for me too this week. I fear Man Utd/Arsenal may be a boring 0-0... after we've put 5 past Wigan and the start that Arsenal have made, people might expect a really open game but it's early in the season and I don't think either manager will risk the other opening them up. (watch that be wrong, with a RVP hattrick now)I've been making wholesale changes to my team this week anyway, I decided to play my wildcard! Mainly just to get it out of the way because I didn't really know what you're supposed to do with it. It's fun tinkering with the team though, I get bored with looking at the same players, my transfer finger gets very itchy... if I was a real manager I'd be a nightmare, just firing people every week and hassling the chairman for more funds. Mercury69 3
Not sure why I was stupid enough to pick 4 defenders when 3 will do, but I've taken steps to remedy this...
Fenxis 99
Not sure why I was stupid enough to pick 4 defenders when 3 will do, but I've taken steps to remedy this...If you actually get a clean sheet then defenders are golden though... a few years back I made ton of pts b/c of the Chelsea back 4. Mercury69 3
If you actually get a clean sheet then defenders are golden though... a few years back I made ton of pts b/c of the Chelsea back 4.Good point...still learning the scoring. I still have 4 defenders, but I'm going with a 3/4/3 this week. I dumped Lescott a bit soon, perhaps, but I picked up Shawcross for a much better price. We'll see how Lescott fits in at ManCity.Got a few mil in the bank, so my next transfer will have some flexibility.
mrpaddyx 13
I've finally got off my ass and made some changes to my team. Its not fun being near the bottom of the league! Out goes some deadwood and in comes some quality.
SlapStick 0
Sigh poor old Modric. Terrible timing for Spurs with Chelsea and Man U coming up. I had a few 100k left over swapped Modric out and put lennon in
