(Don't take this wrong, I just wonder because I recognize the name from a few posts in GenPo and General, but IDK much of a story behind it) So if you care to divulge if you are buying in on your own, qualified through an online satty, casino tourney, home game satty etcetcetc...A story to give us more a reason to root for ya (as if being fcp isn't enough)First off, I have a decent full time job with a decent salary... back in late December or early January after watching some episodes on ESPN, I told a co-worker that I had to get in the WSOP somehow... So I made a goal to get the 10k needed for entry...Now I knew this would be hard since I didn't play too much online, and only went to the casino 4-5 times a month, but I knew if i got on a roll I could get it... So with an online bankroll of about $400 and live bankroll... I really didn't have a live bankroll just what ever I needed I would pull out of the bank... I started my quest...As far as live went, I initially pulled out 300 to just to start playing 2-3 nl at "The Bike," I would go up, down, up, down... didn't really get on roll... Online I played basically the 1/4 million guarantee, and a couple other smaller tournaments on Pstars... However, with my job, I would soon have to start working Sundays, thus eliminating the 1/4 million altogether unitll late May early June...So on the last Sunday I could play before starting work on Sundays, I joined the 1/4 million guarantee...Now this Sunday happend to be Super Bowl Sunday and I knew I would have to leave to go to the GF's place to watch the game later... With that in mind I played aggressively for about 2 hours... I believe I took a shower during the first break, and left my house around 2:30, just prior to the second break... I left with about 21k in chips, sufficient enough to leave and still have some chips left when I came back to the tournament...I was playing on a desktop at home, so I took my laptop and took off to the GF's place... Now I only thought i'd sit out for about 20 minutes, but that ended up not being the case... The trip ended up taking about 30 minutes, and once I got there I had to log into the network with passwords, I than had to download a software update to Pstars on my laptop which took more time... When I got back in the tournament I still had about 14k in chips left... I built back up, made the money and turned up the aggression, as this was when the payouts for 3500 to about 350th place were all the same...
