vonteego3 0
nice move there Boogie was sitting between you and a hot dog who rivered the shit out of me. There was no way he should of stayed in that hand either. Should of raised the hell after the flop, thought I did but the idiot still called. Glad your okay. Why is it men think they are fine when they are not, hence you pushing beyond limits lol. Heat stroke or exhaustion is nothing to fool with, it gets you fast and without you really knowing you have it. Sometimes even when you think it's not that hot out. I bet that scar scared the crap out of your daughter as well. I but your head hurts too. gl there, it will be a nice looking scarJesus Christ, the dude has a HEAD WOUND. That means when he reads this, there's not much protection from an exploding head. Nice work, killer.
Fluffdog87 2
Okay, when someone asks you have two answers:1st, if a guy asks you you say:"Some punk gang bangers tried to jack my ride. They caught me by surprise with a tire iron, so they got a lucky shot in. They're still in the hospital. Both of them."2nd, if a chick asks you:"I was picking up my puppy from the animal rescue, he's a 3 month old golden retriever, and a little girl was in front of me. When she went up to pet a large pit bull, I saw that he was about to attack so I jumped in front of the girl and the dog bit me instead. What could I do? I didn't want the little girl to get hurt. Luckily she is okay, and so is my new puppy; Marley." lol

rcgs59 15
Doug, glad they put the sign up for your protection just to remind you in case you forgot. Looking at the corner picture your lucky you did not crack more of that hard skull of yours. When I worked as a paramedic and got station at a few marathon runs we would get lots of heat exhaustion and heat stroke cases. I also been to a few golf courses here on calls of heat cases, so your not the only duffer to go through this. Sometimes people also need to be aware that if you are on certain medications and are in the sun, it makes you more heat sensitive and can make you more prone to be dehydrated or heat exhausted much quicker. Keep in mind that heat injuries make you more likely for heat injury the future.QFT

Yes, in a lot of ways, I was very lucky not to have cracked my skull or to have had neck injuries. I was also lucky to pass out inside in the air conditioning and where somebody would find me. Lord knows what would have happened had I passed out on the course somewhere (I was by myself). And now for a final couple of pictures. The first is of the wound today, when they cleaned it up and changed the dressing. Notice that I'm sporting a black eye now...And finally, the picture I should have used in the OP, a smiling version...You'll all see this one again, as my avatar, this Halloween, and possibly permenantly on Stars (what do y'all think?) speedz99 145
(what do y'all think?)I think that you're taking this remarkably well. I also think that the number of stories you can make up to explain a scar in that spot and of that shape is staggering.

I can almost guarantee that you could convince dumb chicks in bars that it's from some heroic act, and that as a result you've lost your short term memory. You can be like the guy in Memento, but much more hilarious.

Obv your head is not a vital organ!!VB would argue that fact about his head not being a vital organ lol, and he would want it as a specimen for surewow, those pic's today are just awesome. I am surprised at the suturing job. That's one hell of a cut and your indeed very lucky it wasn't a major fracture. Not surprised that you have a shiner either, figured you would. Your going to have one hell of a scar for sure. Put Vitamin E cream or ointment on it as well it will help. Keep safe Doug and drink plenty of fluids because you will be prone to heat exhaustion in the future as well, at a lower temperature than you think. I like the nick name as well Nikki it suits him lol, better than bogieputt
