As much as I've been screwed in PLO losing with 4 aces to a runner straight flush, losing with a full house to runners to get quads, losing with a nut flush to a runner full house. I can't really be amazed by that. PLO has that type of shit happen a lot.

I know Omaha is different because the best draw almost always wins but Robl was the favorite pre flop and had the only big pair. PA just had huge draw outs. To me that's just the story of PLO and why it's liked. It has the most luck involved but it also probably pays off the most.

Err...the results really aren't that crazy.Rounding the exact numbers to 75/25, Robl's a 1/4 to win each time...Odds of that happening 4 times in a row are:(1/4) * (1/4) * (1/4) * (1/4) = 1/256.So yeah, it's not the most common thing in the world. But it really isn't that crazy - it's just the fact that you don't see people running PLO hands 4 times that often to see it happen - small sample size.

256/1 isn't close to the real odds. For everytime they run it and antonius misses a flush or straight he's muchore likely to hit it on the next run. If they reshuffled everytime they ran it then you'd b pretty accurate but the fact they used the same deck makes the results mind boggling.

Gimme 5 minutes to run the numbers using dead cards. It may be a little longer cause I'm 4 tabling and have to watch the video. I'll edit this post with the full numbers.First run: board: 4dAd7sdead cards: Qc8s5sAhHand Pot equity Wins Ties9h8d6d5d 70.27% 468 0AsQsQdJc 29.73% 198 0Second Run: board: 4dAd7sdead cards: Qc8s5sAhKh2hHand Pot equity Wins Ties9h8d6d5d 72.94% 434 0AsQsQdJc 27.06% 161 0Third Run: board: 4dAd7sdead cards: Qc8s5sAhKh2hJdAcHand Pot equity Wins Ties9h8d6d5d 74.84% 423 0AsQsQdJc 25.16% 138 0Fourth Run: board: 4dAd7sdead cards: Qc8s5sAhKh2hJdAcKsThHand Pot equity Wins Ties9h8d6d5d 81.54% 662 0AsQsQdJc 18.46% 158 0Is what I have. Slight miscalculations by me being lazy and rounding this next part, but should still be alright accurate:(3/10) * (2.75/10) * (1/4) * (9/50) = 0.37125%, where 1/256 is a 0.390625% chance.I wasn't THAT far off. Ferguson's dead cards took out some outs for both, and since Antonius needed outs to win, it hurt him a bit more than Robl who could simply fade it and didn't need the A or Q that Ferguson needed. Still a sick case Ace for the boat though.SECOND EDIT: During the time it took me to simply run those numbers, I've lost 4 80/20s. The odds of that are 1 in 625. FML. :club:

Wow! That was fun to watch! More poker on TV like that please.
You mean more announcers completely drowning out the players chatter with reminders that you can only use 2 of your hole cards?
