top that.
I've played in a couple strip poker games that turned out really well. Royal flushes are fleeting, herpes is forever.

when i first starting playing poker, i hit a royal flush on the river in some cash game. I was in position and the guy to act first shoved his whole stack in, I was pretty excited so got my phone out to take a photo of the royalments! A few years ago I took my first "poker trip" to visit a buddy and do nothing but play cards for 2 or 3 days. The first night we played at a private club in Toledo and I felted the resident douchebag hotshot kid 3 times in about a half hour. The next day we played in a couple different casinos in Detroit and I won the biggest pot I had won to that point playing Omaha 8. It was a kill pot, so we were playing 10/20. I don't remember my exact hand, but on the turn I had the high nuts and like the 3rd nut low. It was something sick like 5 players to the river and it brought a higher possible straight on the board, so I was sure I lost my half of the pot... To my surprise I scooped the whole thing with the 2nd nut high and 3rd nut low. I remember feeling like some kind of awesome baller dragging a $550ish pot w/ one of my oldest friends looking on.

Home game at Nutzbusters. Going to Canada for the 1st Protege deal is a good memory, in that I met some decent people, of course most have them have vanished from this forum. It's a good memory but not a great one, I watch the DVD about once a year and just sigh.

1 of my best memories is the old home games with friends, after a while we would just get bored and start going all in blind, it was very fun,but theres always that 1 guy who never loses!!!! sadly i am not that guy :(also my 1st ever tourny win :ts was on CDpoker where i got 1 of those free no deposit bonuses and won a $5 tournament with about 850 runners and i won $900 :4h which is still my biggest tourny cash to date!!(FML)!!!also at a home game, there was 3 of us playing on the very 1st hand, i had AJ of diamonds.....it was raised pre and all 3 players hit the flop of,10dKd3s, a lot of betting went on to the turn,6d,and then i bet the river which was 10c. the dealer went all in the other guy folded and said he would show his cards, and i folded my nutflush(this is like my 1st big laydown i ever made) and i showed itthe other guy showed his AK which he folded, and the winner showed 1010 for quads.....me and the other guy still insist to this day that he rigged the deck!!!!!!but he has never admitted it.oh and on the 1st hand of a home game we rigged the deck before the flop so a player would have a royal flush vs a straight flush, the look on both of their faces was priceless!! we did tell them after the hand how we rigged it tho :)good times :club:

My first Vegas trip over 20 yrs ago when I played a stud 7 tournament and won $1800,00 and also my 1st bad beat in a home game when I had straight flush and got beat by a bigger straight flush.
Her grammar is even bad with numbers. Really amazing.

My favourite memory was from earlier this year. There is a Poker channel over here (UK) called Sky Poker which runs loads of internet poker tournament live on the tv with analysis. It runs on a slight delay (for obvious reasons). I entered their big Sunday tournament and finished 5th for £400 (around $700 dollars at the time). It was cool to see my icon on the tv with people talking about hands i was playing.
