Jaffe Kicks Out AlvaradoJC Alvarado has been knocked out courtesy of Jonathan Jaffe. Jaffe was the preflop raiser, pushing out 2,500 chips. Alvarado called, and the flop came {6-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {3-Spades}.Alvarado checked, and when Jaffe bet 2,200, he moved all in for 26,000. Jaffe made the call to put Alvarado at risk.ShowdownAlvarado: {7-Spades} {9-Spades}Jaffe: {6-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}Jaffe had the best hand with top pair, but Alvarado had a myriad of outs to the win. The {2-Clubs} on the turn was a blank though, as was the {10-Diamonds} that hit fifth street. Failing to catch up and make a hand, JC Alvarado has been eliminated, and Jonathan Jaffe is moving on.

I won my second match in the wsop $10k hu tourney. My opponent was Olivier Busquet (livb online) He played excellent. I was down in the first part of the match 100k-20k but fought back. I spotted a few tells on both guys which made the difference in the matches. If I win my 3rd round match at 2pm PST I will be in the $. I played very focused and my reads were great all day.
