Multi-TablingWe found Daniel Negreanu in his chair, while his much more important event is on break in the main room. Negreanu is now three-handed for another bracelet in Event #14, but he made the trek to the Brasilia Room to play a few hands over here.We pick up his action in a heads-up pot on the river with the board reading {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {3-Spades} {2-Spades} {9-Diamonds}. His lone opponent checked, then called a bet when Negreanu fired. Kid Poker turned over {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts} having flopped threes full.Across the felt, table mate Mike Matusow yelled, "Daniel don't waste time flopping sets and boats!" Negreanu is up to 35,000 now, enough chips to let himself get blinded down while he tends to more important business.

Daniel ended the night with 50k, top 20 of 133 left says Pokernews. This is hard to believe when the starting count was 30k. An update before play begins today will likely put him in the middle of the field.

I can't imagine placing second for a bracelet and immediately having to go play another event. Being able to concentrate, be in the moment and play well is the definition of tilt control.I'm impressed.

But if you had to, Omaha would be the game to do it. Gambooool.

Day 2 DawnsHello and welcome back to our continuing coverage of another World Championship event, the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi/Lo. Yesterday's action began with 179 hopeful runners duking it out, and a full 50 of them bid farewell by the time the first eight levels were played.Chris Bjorin surged to the chip lead as the clock ticked down, bagging up 134,400 checks. He just managed to pip Scott Clements, with BigRiskky's stack of 130,800 representing the only near challenger so far. After those top two stacks, it's a big step back to the rest of the field, with everyone else on the underside of 100,000. Those within striking distance of the leaders include Daid Benyamine, Phil Hellmuth, Josh Arieh, and Phil Ivey. The chip bags are out on the tables, and the players are just beginning to take their seats. We expect to be underway promptly at 2:00pm, so sit tight, we'll be right back with the start of play.Chris Bjorin 134400 Scott Clements 130800 Tom Koral 99700 Patrick Bueno 98400 David Benyamine 94800 Cameron McKinley 90100 Pat Rao 89800 Phil Hellmuth 83700 Josh Arieh 82700 James Van Alstyne 80400 Phil Ivey 80000 Cong Do 77900 Bryan Colin 74000 Soheil Shamseddin 74000 Ted Lawson 73000 Max Reynaud 70100 Sam Khouiss 69400 John Rogers 68500 Alex Kostritsyn 67500 Jim Geary 63400 Thang Luu 63400 Richard Ashby 63100 Jason Lester 61700 Toto Leonidas 61600 Matt Savage 60100 Ward Crane 59700 Michael Binger 59500 Jason Gray 59300 Jamie Pickering 59100 Sammy Farha 57600 Phil Tom 56400 Richard Toth 56200 Jeff Madsen 55600 Jacobo Fernandez 55500 Michel Abecassis 55000 Steve Zolotow 54300 Robert Campbell 54000 Robert Mizrachi 53500 David 'Chino' Rheem 52500 Bill Gazes 51600 Todd Brunson 51000 Simon Kearney 50800 Brian Haack 50500 Alex Kravchenko 50000 Daniel Negreanu 50000 Mike Matusow 50000 John Monnette 49400 Mack Lee 49100 John D'Agostino 48200 Scotty Nguyen 47200 Greg 'FBT' Mueller 46300 Antony Lellouche 45300 Daniel Alaei 45300 Kirill Gerasimov 44800 Ben Boyd 44700 Mel Judah 44600 Ben Gold 43500 Phil Gordon 43200 Yueqi Zhu 43000 Allen Kessler 42100 Manny Minaya 41900 Barry Greenstein 41600 Anthony Rivera 41500 Greg Mascio 40800 Annie Duke 40700 Linda Johnson 40300 Mark Gregorich 39700 Jean-Robert Bellande 39100 Ralph Perry 38500 Matt Glantz 37500 Ray Dehkharghani 36000 Tad Jurgens 36000 Jose Paz 35500 John Guth 35400 Danny Smith 33800 Chau Giang 32100 John Hennigan 31800 Rob Hollink 31300 Jay Heimowitz 30100 Mike Sexton 30000 Scott 'xmrstyle' Bohlman 29600 Mike Henrich 27500 David Chiu 27000 Daniel Fuhs 26700 James Pritchard 26600 Justin 'Boosted J' Smith 26600 Yao Shi 26100 Eric Crain 25300 Tom Chambers 25100 Max Pescatori 24900 Dan Shak 24500 Bob Turco 24400 Greg Jamison 24400 Mike Wattel 22900 Doyle Brunson 22200 Brandon Cantu 21600 Lamar Johnston 21400 Ville Wahlbeck 20900 Kia Hooshmand 20700 Farzad Bonyadi 20200 Matt Lefkowitz 20100 Richie Sklar 20100 Bob Slezak 19200 Bill Chen 19100 Fuad Koubi 18800 Brent Carter 18400 Abraham Mosseri 17500 Jim Grove 17400 Todd Barlow 16800 Bryan Devonshire 16200 Erick Lindgren 15600 Pat Pezzin 15000 Barry Werthmann 14100 Stephen Ladowsky 11700 Vitaly Lunkin 11400 Ilia Bulichev 10400 Martin Corpuz 10400 Brett Richey 9800 Bill Edler 9000 Lonnie Heimowitz 8300 Lee Markholt 7500 Freddy Deeb 7200 John Juawanda 6200 Karen Longfellow 5400 David Eller 5100 David Steicke 2500 Nick Schulman 2200 Shirley Rosario 1700 Perry Friedman 1600

My main man, Phil Hellmuth, has 100k and I predict he will run deep in this tournament. If anyone wants to give me 5-1 odds I would like to put up some $$$$ies on him making the final table. PM me.Note: I think 5-1 are fair odds, if anything favorable to whoever is betting against him, since Phil has zero bracelets in omaha hi/lo and does not claim that he is a world class player in the game.

"Are You Serious?!"Just before the break:We join a loony pot on the flop with four-handed action. The first three cards were spread out in the middle of the table, reading Kc5d6 d . Alex Kravchenko was first to act, and he put out a bet. Daniel Negreanu raised, and both Matt Glantz and James Van Alstyne called. Alex Kravchenko wanted to play for more though, and he raised the table. Negreanu four-bet it, and all three of his opponents called. The turn came the Jc. Kravchenko checked, and Negreanu bet all in for his final 1,500 chips. All three opponents called, then checked it down when the river brought the 9h ."Two pair is good," said someone at the table."I don't got two pair. I got one pair," said Negreanu, with a stalemate developing as nobody would show their cards for a few seconds. Finally, Van Alstyne tabled AcTc7d2d for a clean miss. Negreanu showed down Ac Kh Td 2s , giving him top pair. To his shock, he watched his three opponents gather their cards and muck them in turn.Negreanu stood all the way up on his chair to get a better look. "WOW!" he yelled. "Are you serious?!"They were serious. Negreanu's dry pair of aces was somehow good enough to scoop a monster pot, pushing him all the way back up to 78,000. Negreanu had 4,700 just minutes ago, seemingly with one foot out the door.Welcome back to the game, Kid.

I think he runs deep, but misses the final table. He's not that strong in Omaha. He's really only strong in one game(Hold'Em) and against better players he'll find a way to lose.
