gobears 0
Get a bank where you can deposit the check into an ATM. Skip the tellers. Once it is in their system they wont look as hard. I've never used an ATM to deposit a check actually. Not even sure how to do it lol.99% of the time I deposit checks thru the ATM. Once I deposited a check thru a teller (I had some other business) and she noted some minor discrepancy (I think my wife's middle name was slightly misspelled by the check writer) so a supervisor had to come over to approve it. She did after considering for a bit about not accepting the check as is.After that experience, I always deposit thru the ATM and have never had any problems. I use a local credit union too. MaxStPolish 4
People only hate the best Lol....I don't hate anything....just that if the sox win the yearly matchup, i have to cut my buddy's lawn in a dress (ala simpsons). So today's win was HUUUUUUUUUGE.Oh, and back on topic, I've had a pending w/d since monday. I will keep informed with my progress, although many of you should hopefully be through the gauntlet already. I highly recommend atm deposit. Never done it, but I could see it being infinitely better since the bank would have to actually do the leg work of getting you into the office, etc.Question though, as last time I did such a deposit, i was also kinda inquisitioned when I brought the check in. What do you typically respond to these people?

What do you typically respond to these people?I've never been asked anything at all at my bank and they have always given me immediate access to my cash, but I would just say its money from an online business or something. You shouldn't really need to go any further, and yeah, just deposit them in the ATM. If you dont have that option you can call your bank and let them know you will be mailling a check with your account number etc and you would like them to deposit it, same result. CaneBrain 95
I once had a teller call over the bank manager when it was a particularly big check. I acted really indignant and he told her to cash it.Since then, I just deposit them through an ATM. It's pretty easy and no teller to be a pain.
Sportsmack 0
.Question though, as last time I did such a deposit, i was also kinda inquisitioned when I brought the check in. What do you typically respond to these people?I once had a teller ask me about my deposits (Pokerstars) because there were like 4 in the matter of a week (sports betting thread losses ). I told him they were for a poker site, and we proceeded to have a 20 min. discussion on the WSOP. He was a 20-something kid, so I knew he wouldn't make a big deal out of it. My bank seems fairly loose with poker/sportsbetting deposits as I'm sure they have somewhat of an idea what they are. Small town local banks ftw!
Suited_Up 2
I just noticed I now have a "Premium Bank Wire" option on FTP, I haven't had this before.Anyone know how much my bank might charge? I've heard up to 50, but I've heard less too.Anyone with Chase ever used it?
