I understand now why poker players say the WSOP is such a grind. I cant imagine doing that 10 straight days like DN. At least it helped me sleep like a baby.Just got to the Rio, trying to not go stir crazy waiting for 2pm.Saw my table draw....luckily there are quite a few stacks even shorter than me. Robert Mizrachi is there....dont recognize the other names.Probably need to get something going early. Update later.

CaneBrain 95
glgl dont get addicted to the percs either there very addicting I am super cautious with them. I only take them when I absolutely have to. Usually, I just try to take 2 aleve. But yesterday was rough and I fell asleep all wrong on the flight out here which screwed up my neck.So nice to have the back of a 60 year old at age 27.Thanks for the scouting report guys. I am so short that it probably wont matter unless I can find a way to double up post haste. Thanks everyone for all the support. Even if I bust out on the first hand today, this will have been an incredible experience. I even saw Phil Hellmuth get mad and berate someone briefly yesterday. He cracks me up. Merby 3
Day 3 (morning update)Slept in this morning and then went for a quick run. So nice that my back is finally feeling good. Screw being 27 with back problems. I am hoping I will be sitting at a poker table a lot today so I wanted to get in 30 mins of exercise.Just got to the Rio. It is a zoo per usual. Just kinda waiting around for Noon to come. Super excited/super anxious right now.If I survive until the first break, I will try and come throw up a quick update post. Good luck at anyone else playing event#24.Also, I got some other good news today that I am going to post about in Daniel's Poker Blog Forum (aka the Political Forum).Good luck today Andrew!I used to have a really sore back and finally invested in a quality pillow+mattress. It was expensive but well worth it, as I no longer have back or neck problems. Obviously bad mattresses aren't the only cause, but it's definitely something worth looking into. I do have those temper-pedic (spelling wrong I know) pillows and a great mattress. Unfortunately, disc problems are the worst kind of nagging injuries. I hurt it playing squash or golf in college (used to be a 7 handicap.....have not swung a club in two years).....but I am open to any and all suggestions. Back pain blows.Time to go make the donuts. Will update at break (or when I bust but lets shoot for the break).

CaneBrain 95
Final Update from Vegas:Well I am out and it was quick. Went out in 235th. All that good luck to survive yesterday caught up with me.About 5 hands in, I am in the BB with about 12K. Mizrachi raises to 3300, Short stack pushes for 4800 total, I find QQ in the BB and shove. Mizrachi folds and short stack shows AQ. Flop contains a dirty ace and I am down to 7000. Two hands later I am on the button with AdKd. Folds to me. I shove, SB calls, BB raises all in, SB calls. Yikes.I was actually in ok shape as they flipped QQ and JJ respectively. Board came 8686J. Tough luck for me (and the guy with queens as their side pot was pretty big).Oh well, I got into this for 26 bucks through a Full Tilt bracelet race so I 100x my money. Not too shabby for my first ever event. Hopefully, I can come out again next year. Thanks for all the support and good luck to any FCPers who are still in.
