A Bit About the StructureWith eight poker variants in the mix today, the structure is naturally a bit complex. The games will be played in the following order: 2-7 triple draw, limit hold'em, Omaha 8 or better, Razz, seven-card stud, stud 8 or better, no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha. Games will change every eight hands. Each level will last 60 minutes. Players have a 30,000 chip starting stack and blinds start off at 100-200 in flop games with betting limits of 200-400. In the stud games, they'll begin with a 50 ante, a 50 bring-in, and betting limits of 200-400. In NLHE, action begins with a 25 ante and 50-100 blinds, while PLO will be played with no ante and the same 50-100 blinds to start.

LOLUm... Read the Schedule, ManWe won't give away his name, but a gentleman in a red shirt just realized that no, this event is not a $10K Mixed HOLD'EM event, but a $10K Mixed GAMES event. He is currently attempting to get a refund on his buy-in, despite having played several rounds.

194 players bought in to the $10,000 World Championship Mixed Event and after eight levels of play, approximately 128 remain. Daniel Negreanu ended the day as the chip leader with approximately 120,000 with Vanessa Rousso, Jimmy Fricke, and Nick Schulman not too far behind

Questions: Is it 8 players per table in this event? What do they do in triple draw if they run out of cards? Reshuffles the discards?
We'll be playing eight levels and during the deuce to seven lowball two players will sit out in each hand.

I know nothing of this event or triple draw but I'm guessing they start out 8 handed and then for triple draw they're 6 handed which I'm guessing means they wouldn't run out of cards.

AAsnake, that answers exactly zero of my questions.
Yes, If they run out of cards playing 6 handed, the discard pile is shuffled and dealing continues as normally.

Thanks. I wasnt trying to be a prick, its just that saying that two people sit out doesnt specify if they play 8 or 10 to begin with. It must be a somewhat confusing event to play in. There are a lot of considerations. Like an ante for NL but nont for PL and then since only 16 people sit out per orbit of TD, it must pick up where it left off to make an even number of people sitting out. Im guessing its not an insignificant amount of time spent getting everyone on the same page.
