Mixing it UpJust witnessed kind of a curious hand over at a table at which Hevad Khan, Vivek Rajkumar, and Burt Boutin were sitting. None were involved, but all are still talking about it.In a PLH hand, a player open-raised to 1,200 from middle position, and only the small blind called. The flop came 10s 9s 5s , and before the SB could act the raiser surprisingly tossed his cards into the muck. All were joking about it afterwards. "You've really opened up your checking range," quipped one player. "Now that you've worked an open-fold into your game."

JFarrell?!?!?!?
Almost. The jfarrell20 open-fold is a tournament tactic used when other players are behind you, ostensibly so that your fold increases the chance that at least 2 others may "go at it", hopefully resulting in the elimination of one of them.

solid reporting here...someone shoudl tell them when looking at the board upside down they have to reverse the order to report :club: En and OutDaniel Negreanu was tangled up with Richard En, and one of them is now out of chips. The flop rolled out {4-Hearts} {7-Spades} {3-Diamonds}. En checked over to Kid Poker, and Negreanu fired out a bet. After a moment, En check-raised all in, and Negreanu thought for just a minute before calling.ShowdownEn: {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}Negreanu: {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts}En was well behind with his two overcards, needing to pair one of them to stay alive. Much to his dismay, the {9-Diamonds} fell on the turn, locking up the pot for Negreanu right there. The river was a meaningless {10-Diamonds}, and Richard En has been eliminated. With that big pot worth more than 80,000 chips, Daniel Negreanu has vaulted up the scoreboard, sitting now with 95,000.

I forwarded BigLebowski's comment. They said, apparently thanking me and BigLebowski: FerricRamsium [1 minute ago]Thanks DCJ (and Twitter). Also, Ivey's down to the final three in deuce to seven. Could be a head start in the bracelet battle between him and Daniel. You can watch it here:http://www.bluffmagazine.com/live

During the last break (4 players left at that time), new tweet was posted (later they made apologize):Ivey just busted two players in one hand. Heads-up with big lead for the bracelet in Deuce to Seven!---Team Ivey

A Dangerous WheelOmahaUnder the gun, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier opened with a raise to 2,300. Michael Mizrachi came along from the button, and Daniel Negreanu called out of the small blind as well. (Do you see how sick this table is?)In any event, the flop came out 4 2 3 . Negreanu led out for 8,000, and ElkY raised it up to 26,000. The Grinder ducked out, and Negreanu went into the tank for a minute. After careful consideration, he flashed A 5 and slid his four cards into the muck.

4 June 2009, 7:00 PMRealKidPoker: Brutal brutal holdem round back to 50k. 62 left it pays 45
Here is the hand:Robbins Basking in Good FortuneHold'emDaniel Negreanu raised to 2,400 from late position, and Jamie Robbins, sitting in the cutoff, reraised to 8,800. It folded back around to Negreanu who made the call. The flop came [Qd 5s 6d]. Negreanu checked, Robbins bet his last 5,000, and Negreanu called. Negreanu showed [Ks Qs] for queens, and Robbins [Js Jh]. The turn was the [6c], and Negreanu was still ahead. But the river was the [Jc], giving Robbins the set and the 28,000-chip pot. Afterwards, Negreanu said he felt the jack was coming. He's at about 55,000 at the moment.Doubled up later:Negreanu Grinds Down MizrachiOmahaMichael Mizrachi opened with a raise to 3,000. Next door, Daniel Negreanu popped it back, re-raising to 10,500. The Grinder called. The flop brought [6s 7d Jh]. Mizrachi led out with a pot bet of 22,500. Negreanu quickly moved all in for an additional 15,600, and Mizrachi called.ShowdownMizrachi: [Ac 8c Js Ks]Negreanu: [As Ah 5h Ts]The [Th] on the turn was a safe card for the at-risk Negreanu, as was the [7s] that hit the river. Kid Poker dragged in that big pot, doubling up to 103,000 and leaving Mizrachi crippled down to 8,500.
