no not baxter 0
this situation with the phone definitely sucks and I feel very badly for Ozibut why doesn't everyone playing just leave their phones at home for the day (or remove the battery)..... there are many situations in life where a phone is not permitted; the bar exam for attorneys comes to mind. Many people have been kicked out of the exam for having a phone ring (and the stakes there are much more significant). The lesson is to know the rules and try to adhere to them. Best of luck in the rest of the WSOP Ozi. Hopefully you win significant monies to make up for this.ppl need to tweet bro

NoSup4U 0
Just finished Day 1 in the $1K. I was 2nd in chips at my table with 44K, probably over average I would guess.Ran pretty standard imo:AK > 7777 > KQJJ > QQAA > KKAs of now they think the chip leader might have somewhere around 80K, so I'm happy with where I am. And of the 3000 people that started the day, less than 400 are left. LOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL donkaments :)Day two on Monday. Ship me this final table ONE (more) TIME PLEASE!!!Also just caught up on the saga with Bill's phone. Gahhhh thats ridic. Their enforcement of the rules is so random and arbitrary it makes me insane.Mark
trussdude 0
A couple of guys at my table had their phones on the rail and I sent about a dozen texts during the tournament. Not one word was said to anybody about this.I guarantee that this hand killing would not have happened to a named pro.

Their enforcement of the rules is so random and arbitrary it makes me insane.MarkI've played in Harrah's owned joints in several states and this has been the case in each and every one. The floor/dealer will randomly enforce a rule, often misinterpreting the rule in the process, and if anyone else is called in on appeal they basically find out what decision has been made and back up the employee. I've never seen a ruling overturned. It's a big part of the reason I boycotted the Horseshoe here for 18 months and didn't play at so much as one Harrah's property while I was in Vegas. rcgs59 15
Welcome To Day 1b of the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em Event!Another day and another 3,000 players are starting to filter into the halls around the Amazon room, all eager to take their shot at the biggest non-Main Event field in the history of the WSOP. With just 376 having made through the first day, we can expect a similar mass exodus throughout the 10 levels we are playing today. The doors to the Amazon, Brasilia and Miranda rooms are scheduled to open around 10 to 15 minutes before play starts but it might take a while for everyone to make their way to the seats. So look for the tournament to kick off at 12pm or maybe a few minutes afterwards. Let the carnage commencelol, Fluff , turn off that phoneChild's Play For KidPokerFirst hand sees Daniel Negreanu call a raise preflop and then call a 150 bet on a Q ,J ,2 board.
