In cash games live Im up like a grand. (only been like 6 times)But online I think Im at even right now or maybe down $100 in my lifetime.Why cant I play online? Is it discipline? Patience?Anyone have any tips on how to improve online game? Any videos to watch or books to read?Also semi brag I just won a home game tonight and we keep every game in excel. Here is the graph over those 211 games. Im the series 1 line that is at the top at the end. Only one other guy is close and the rest are way down. Link to post Share on other sites

Only one other guy is close and the rest are way down.It is hard to find any cash table or SNG that has only one 1 reasonable player online. Impossible past 100nl cash. If you cant beat online it is either sample size or ability. If you are a SNG player realize that 100 games is absolutely nothing in variance terms. If you have got a good sample size then there are alot of tips I can give you to increase ability, ranging from game selection to mental approach to strategy. Without knowing more about what games you play, what limits you are at and what your goals are from poker then they would just be random blanket statements. Link to post Share on other sites

Usually, the answer is the person has played 50 live tournaments and 2,000 online tournaments, so there's really no way to tell if he's a winning player live long term given his sample size. I just seem to tilt on net. Plus I am up over all at casino live games. I find I just have more patience, and my ability to read players are much better live. My stats for the last 2 yrs show a great improvement at live games. I find live, just a whole different game. It could be boring but not if you are watching everyone for tells.
