i played with marco for most of day 2 in the stud 8 event last year and he played very well, despite being clearly tilted at being stuck in a $1.5k stud 8 event with men the master and "the annoying internet kid" across the table :club:

the barry/jesus one is the hardest to choose from imo. to me they are both the type of players who play very tight in order to make the money rather than the type who push on and go FTW
The reason I picked Barry in this is because he's more likely to play the non-hold'em events and make final tables. Sure, Ferguson will probably get through 95 percent of the field in one, maybe two of the $1500 NL events, but in order to really get a sizeable cash he'll have to finish in the top 3-4. Barry will probably make it to 3-4 final tables and have more moderately sized cashes, so I think Barry will take this one easily ... unless Ferguson makes it deep in a NL event with a big field, then he runs away with it.

Hachem.. no reason why really.. just think hes betterGreenstein for sure... Seems like he has taken up intrent poker more and surrounded himself with some people that have played on the net somewhat regularly and I think that will pay divdendeds coming up during the series ( and I will still crossbook any nl mtt Barry;)).. Joe Reitman but I dont care about either of these 2 and you should have put me and fluffy in there instead of these two clowns.. And I gotta like JC Alvarado.. Seems to really understand small ball and Deeb shoving 25-40 bbs with 4s in a live tourney wont work as well as it does online.
Disagree completely about Deeb. Calling ranges are going to be infinitely tighter live when it comes to 25-30 bb open shoves.

btw, Traniello is one of the most under rated players I think. He seems to be a very solid player that consistently makes money. The Barry/Ferguson one is tough to call. I went for Ferguson because 1) He has won more bracelets 2) he has one of the best records at the WSOP 3) he will play more events than Barry, and will also play most of the big buy-ins that Barry plays (although obviously I'd take Barry in the big buy-ins)4) He is "due"Obviously, needless to say, I could be easily wrong and Barry could win 2million while Chris wins nothing.Hachem/Raymer, I take Hachem. Hachem is unquesionably the better NLHE player, but Raymer does play mixed games and all that. The only trouble I see is, Raymer hasn't had much results in the last 5 years. I know he hasn't played THAT much (zero WPTs), but still has very few results. I dunno, in theory, it's actually quite close, but for some reason I definitely prefer HachemJC/Deeb, I go for JC. JC has more live experience. Don't think Deeb will have a good year at the WSOP (definitely seems like one or the other for prediction for Shaun Deeb, either he crushes and wins lotsa money, or he does nothing)

I went Raymer- based on playing more events- I thing Joe is better but won;t play enough to make up the gapBarry- plays a ton, one of the best in the world at big tourniesTraniello- mostly because of his amazing run a couple of years agoJ.C.- mostly just cuz- but he did just win a big online tourney and should be feeling good (and is rolled to play a lot if he wants to)

points 3 and 4 are both way off

In NL im going with Joe Hachem over Raymer all day, but the fact that Raymer is going to be playing all the mixed events most likely makes it close and prob gives raymer the nod imo.
I don't know how many non NLHE events Hachem plays, but I know he made the money in the $1500 HORSE last year.
