dirtlad 0
I was playing at my local casino with two empty chairs to my right. Player sits down, plays a hand, and give his friend $100 to buy chips. So they are both sitting side by side to my right. I could hear them chatting in some other language than english, both when the had no cards, and when they were in hands. At one point, 2nd player showed first player (who was out) his cards, and by tone asked what to do. First player said fold. Dealer said nothing. Later on, first player left, but a couple of times the 2nd player would ask 1st player what do. I finally turned to the first player and said that if he wasn't in the hand, or sitting at the table, he need to shut up and go away. At which point, he indicated that I had no right to speak to him like that.My question: At which point am I justified in standing up and punching the guy? Or, seriously, wouldn't you think that a card room should have a rule against table talking in a foriegn language, and getting observers to comment on action?

GWCGWC 83
joke accountJust in case anyone is curious about the answer, the other player is totally justified when he crushes your jaw. You shouldn't speak to other players like that.
king_tanner 84
How about saying something to the dealer before running your mouth to the player.

ROACHBABY 0
Just in case anyone is curious about the answer, the other player is totally justified when he crushes your jaw. You shouldn't speak to other players like that. This is what I was thinking. I would've said something to the dealer first (or floor for that matter), or you could have asked him nicely to quit discussing hands. For all you know they are new to poker and just out to have a good time and gamble away some $$$, and you tell him his friend needs to shut up and leave out of no where. I think the poker room I go to has a room that only English is allowed at the table. Have a little patience next time, especially at a 1/2 table.
bigcoled 1
First I would kick his chair out, then when he falls to the ground, kick him repeatedly... once I broke a sweat from kicking, I would sit back down and say nothing...

Flushgarden 0
Next time bring a gun and shoot anyone playing unfairly. There really is no other way to settle a dispute in a poker room.
