So me and 2 buddies played 1/2 NL.On my right was the LAG middle eastern guy. He was loaded and was waiting for 5/10 and 10/20 to open so he was raising huge everytime. He doubled me up when I had top pair and he overplayed a flush draw. I guess that put him on tilt.The next hand he shoved blind. He got called by a lower stack with JJ, which held and he was down to 18 bucks. He shoved the $18 blind and I called him with J9 suited and hit the nut straight. He rebought for $200. Before the money made it to the table he made it $50 blind. I look down at AA and shove him for his $200. Everyone folds and he blind calls. He had 23. Board ran out 3 Q J 10 5. Free $200 for me.I finished about $250 ahead on the day since we had to leave.Any thoughts? Anyone else have similar easy money stories? Link to post Share on other sites

gooch 0 Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 i was at the casino one night and there were two russian guys playing, one of which i'm sure had never played the game before as he was calling all ins on the river with 7 high and making flops $50 to go on a $1/$2 table with any face cardhe would hit some super weird hands here and there and ended up fluctuating wildly up and downi wanted so hard to catch any type of hand but couldn't get anything and he left after dropping about $2000 Link to post Share on other sites

Couple seconds later the door next to me opens and closes. I'm finishing up, and a voice says "Rough night?" I think it's odd, but it was a rough night, so I reply yeah. The voice says "yeah, I'm up a bit but really stressed from work and home. I wish I could relax."Not I'm creeped out. I zip up and kick flush when he says "Wait, I have an idea. I can help you out with some cash, and you can help me work out some stress." I laugh and say that's alright, I'm just going to get home. "But you don't even have to do anything. Well, touching-wise, just watch." No thanks freak, I'm thinking. "50 bucks, just come in here and watch. 3 minutes or you can go" I get the money up front and I'm out of there in 90 seconds flat. Once I was playing, and a guy was playing terribly, and called another guy to the river with bottom pair. The guy won the pot with two pair or something and was offended the fish called him down. He gave him a dirty look and basically said "ffs, what are you doing? do you think I was bluffing or something?". The fish even strated to act a little apologetic about it.****ing idiots!!
