Best And Worst Things About Where You Live

Recommended Posts

What are the best and worst things about where you live?I'll start. Best: I live in Soho, so the best thing is all of the beautiful women. I once chatted up Josie Maran a block from my apartment. Nothing came of it, obviously, but it was still an amazing moment.Worst: Trying to be monogamous. There is just some much temptation.

Those sound like two GOOD things about Soho.

Best: I live in a beautiful areaWorst: It is full of left wing hippies who will drop whatever they are doing to protest about anything and everything. For example, the daily show came here to make fun of us when the city council tried to impeach Bush on their own. Also, it is very expensive to live here.

I have a feeling I am going to hate you. (2 second pause) Yup. I hate you. "See, the WORST thing about my life is that I have sex -- or, at the very least, CAN have sex -- with attractive women all the time (see: BEST thing about living in Soho, above). I can get that in under the radar without seeming like a self-congratulatory turd, since I put that in the WORST section. That way you all know that I don't even like it, the sex with the attractive women! Also: the over/under for my penis-size percentile is like 20th."

SoHo is great, if you like hanging out with rich snobby Eurotrash. I live in Greenpoint, in Brooklyn.Good things: Safe, lots of decent stores and restaurants and really nice parks, lots of families, good amount of beautiful women, very few homeless. Bad things: Hipsters.

Good things: Quality of life, 5 minutes to the beach, women here are the best I've seen.undecided: no manners or politeness, they're not rude, its just not in the culture.Bad things: unattended packages on public transport.

Best: Cheap. Close to centre of Amsterdam/metro/trainstation/highway/university. Lot's of other students (over 1000). Worst: No sun on my balcony during the day. People yelling at relatives that are in prison during the middle of the night (I live next to a prison). Fellow students throwing parties that go on until the next morning when you have a exam.

Greater Orlando AreaGood: The warm weather, close to so many things such as theme parks, beaches, and lots of outdoor activities on land and waterNot so Good: A very mixed up economy due to being a tourist destination and the whole overpriced mortgage/ market crash, unemployment high and neighborhoods are becoming run down because no one is paying their HOA. Also, in the heart of Orlando crime is now high. (luckily I live north of Orlando)

there is nothing good about SoHo. it is a neighborhood to be avoided at all costs.
Except when cost is the big issue. It's a great place for young people to live that just want a cheap (relative to rest of manhattan) place to live with easy access to bars.

Best: It's around a 2 hour drive to either the mountains or the beach.Worst: Only 1 casino which doesn't even offer poker, unless you want to play digital which is basically playing online poker at a casino.

This is exactly what i'd put about raleigh, 2 hours to mountains/beach and the only casino out in Cherokee is digital/no cards :(In the Charlotte area you are closer to the mountains and i'm closer to the beach hahaOnly thing i'd def add that is awesome about Raleigh area is all the colleges resulting in more bars, college towns, and college sports. Can't go wrong with Duke, UNC, NC State in a 30 mile area.

Clayton is a bit of a Seattle homer imo. That team still doesn't have a legit starting QB and there are still question marks all over. ROFL I guess by default playing in the NFC West they get playoff consideration.DAAAA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS (ala Chris Farley's SuperFan!)
