AimHigher 0
This is a hand from February I played pretty poorly. I think you guys will probably concur I should've made a larger raise on the flop and bet the turn. Only have 2 hands on this guy in my DB so he's unknown.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comHero (BB) ($10)UTG ($10.95)Button ($13.45)SB ($12.85)Preflop: Hero is BB with 7 , 7 1 fold, Button calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero checksFlop: ($0.25) Q , 10 , 7 (2 players)Hero bets $0.20, Button raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $1, Button calls $0.60Turn: ($2.25) 6 (2 players)Hero checks, Button checksRiver: ($2.25) 9 (2 players)Hero bets $1.50, Button raises to $12.35 (All-In), Hero calls $7.40 (All-In)Total pot: $20.05 | Rake: $0.95What do you think villain's range is for shipping the river? CobaltBlue 662
Raise pre. Barring that, bet/call flop is fine (with plans to c/r the turn). However, if we are 3-betting the flop, do it a bit bigger and for the love...bet turn. Normal opponent is not going to fool around by betting on the turn when checked to when you've 3-bet the flop. The river as played is probably bet/fold. Most villains are not going to raise-ship this river with anything weaker than a set.

The only way we find a fold here is because we played it so poorly.
thavinny9 0
i hate folding a set but you let him draw if he was drawing, i think that in most cases, he's got you beat there
