Ftp Rakeback Question?

Recommended Posts

I'm still trying to get this. I signed up with RakebackPros awhile ago have been sending Tilt emails religiously (nice ones) and am "on the list" supposedly. I think I'm going to start emailing them daily until I get the right support person.I've been playing more cash lately and this rakeback could really help.
I finally got an email back from Tilt:Thanks for getting back in touch with us again about rakeback. We expect that you will be contacted shortly by our preferred affiliate partner, RakeBackPros.com. We have resent your player details to RakeBackPros.com and they will be in direct contact with you. Although we would like to help, we don?t have any more information to share with you at this time. Regards,KeithFull Tilt Poker SupportAnyone have this email? And how long does it take for RakebackPros to get in touch with me? I did set up an account with them over a year ago or so. I have since emailed RBP support.

sinvce ehtey gave most of us players a bonus for playing there this month I noticed a negative on all my rakeback accounts. is this b/c of the bonus? How long will it last? Whats the best way tp get rid of it, just play more?thanks
Even though it looks like you're losing money... you make more when you have both the bonus and rakeback combined.

I hate how random Tilt are about this. I don't play there any more because of it.I sent the standard kind of email requesting rakeback and they told me that as I had signed up with an affiliate that didn't provide rakeback I couldn't have it added. I pointed out that I hadn't signed up with an affiliate. They said the same thing back as they did the first time. I asked how I had become affiliated with someone. They said the same thing again. I pointed out I played a reasonably high volume, it was ridiculous they couldn't sort out rakeback and even worse they couldn't answer a simple question, and that if they valued my custom they'd sort it. They didn't. I have played over 2,500 SNGs on Stars in the last two months and will be going for Supernova next year. I haven't played on Tilt during this time. Perhaps I wasn't playing enough for them to consider me a priority. Only $25,000+ in buy ins for MTTs and SNGs in the first 3/4 of the year on Tilt.Basically, the way they handle rakeback for some people seems randomly crappy and their customer support is terrible (unless you get lucky for no apparent reason and catch someone who gives a ****). Stars is a really nice alternative though. :club:

Has anyone emailed RakeBackPros.com support and ever received an email back from them? Tilt support said they have sent them my information and stated that it is RBP's obligation now to get my rakeback started.I have sent RBP numerous emails regarding this but no response yet & I have yet to begin receiving rakeback. I'm wondering if any of you guys have had this occur to you? Thanks.

Thanks Slink, I used the same letter you used below and tweaked it just a bit to fit my situation. 2 days later Full Tilt sends me an email saying that Rakeback pros will be contacting me shortly and 2 days later they did. I am now signed up and it took me less then a week for the entire process :club:

I sent FT this e-mail asking for rakeback:Good Evening, I signed up with FT about 18 months ago, and enjoy playing on the site (despite bad beats, lol), before I knew about referring friends and rakeback. I have heard that if I asked those at support I may hear back from them about getting rakeback. If true, I would really like to be added to a list of those that are in my situation about getting rakeback. Thanks, FT then sent this e-mail back to me:Hi, Thanks for getting in contact with us about rakeback. Although Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players, our preferred affiliate partner RakeBackPros.com offers rakeback to players who sign up through their website with Full Tilt Poker. We’ve sent your player details to RakeBackPros.com and they will be in direct contact with you. If there's anything else we can help you with, please feel free to ask. We're always here to help. Regards, Gearoid Poker Specialist Full Tilt Poker Support Does this mean I'll soon be getting rakeback?

I emailed them once and got a response fairly quickly, but it was only after I started receiving rakeback. So... that probably doesn't help you too much :club: .

Well, I got an email back from RBP but rakeback still hasn't been granted to me. FML.The two entities (RBP & Tilt) seem to be passing the blame back and forth as to who needs to finalize this deal.

I signed up for Tilt year ago, along with a bunch of other sites, to see which I liked and not. I ended up playing exclusively on Stars since then.I've been thinking about signing up again with Tilt. I never deposited any money the first time around and only used play chips. If I sign up through their affiliate site, will I be placed on a list also about rakeback? Or since I'm a brand new customer, I'll be fine?

You can make a new account without any issue, just make sure it's a different email. If ya wanna use my site that'd be awesome. It's pretty self explanatory but PM if you have questions.

I got an email from Tilt awhile ago saying they would no longer answer my rakeback questions because the issue had been sent to RBP. I kept sending emails to RBP and finally it got granted to me. It probably took 3 months or so from the email from Tilt.edit: looking back through my saved emails. I received my first email from RBP 12/22. Here it is:Full Tilt Poker is trying to accommodate players who have previously been unable to receive rakeback. We have been able to offer players rakeback in the past and if we can offer more players rakeback then we will be in contact with you.RegardsJoeRakebackpros Support

here's hoping. I sent and got put on list like a month or two ago. Said i probably would be moving elsewhere, probably only total about 100ish in rake a month....sure would love get get some back though :club: I still play FTP though, I just feel comfortable there, hah.
Heeeeeeeeey. Just shy of 19 months later, I get an email out of the blue allowing me rakeback finally. Can someone give me a cliffnotes on the effect of rakeback on FTP's? I'm pretty sure I remember hearing that you can no longer use your points or something. Just want to confirm as I will use them up before I accept the rakeback offer. Thx.

Using points causes a hit to your rakeback. If say you rake $200 but you cash in points worth $100, you are left with $100 rakeback x the 27 % rate, or $27 instead of $54. I think the rate is every point you cash in is worth $0.005.It won't cause you to owe money back, but the points could put you in negative, and then you won't get any until you are in a positive position again.

so i think it's pretty obvious....but for rakeback, any ftp bonuses count against it: https://my.fulltiltpoker.com/my-promotions/...ack-bonus/rules??Lame that it's my first month of this rakeback offer, and then they throw out the rush week, when my rakeback is like equal to the 50 bucks ill probably end up clearing over the next 3-4 weeks. So in this situation, if i played rush week for these 7 days and got a 50 buck bonus, it would be a 50 buck hit against my future rakeback?? Not gonna complain about free money offers, but blah!! I just want to make sure im reading this all correctly.

Here's the way it works, quick math - Without BonusYou pay $1000 in rake27% rakebackTotal earned $270With Bonus (Assuming $200 Bonus)You pay $1000 rake-$200 bonus (from Rake Paid)Net Rake paid $80027% rakeback$216 Rakeback + $200 Bonus = $416Bonus + Rakeback> Rakeback. The 50 bonus doesn't hit rakeback payment directly, it goes against your rake paid.

TY, that makes a lot more sense of it.
