Yoda 1
The hijackers however, kidnapped the captain while escaping on a life boat. So it's still quite a situation. Surprised the article didn't mention that part..

Sometimes you just can't help but laugh. It happens to me all the time in the most awkward situations. Give her a break.

BTW, this is not the first time she has done something like this.

We're all humans, no one is perfect, no one is in complete control of themselves at all times.

Not a big deal.
Piddle Duck 0
Ok I watched it now and she laughs once, and not when she is talking about the Americans but just about piracy in general. Not a big deal.I hate Sydney Crosby, the NHL's poster boy for greatness, and because of my hate for him anytime I see him even look like he is going to whine I get upset and over react and say things that are clearly created from my hatred of him. At least I realize I am being irrational and judging him more harshly than I would if I felt differently about him. I think it is clear from past conversations that ElG is clearly not a fan of hers and is just using his dislike for her to make something more of a situation. I just watched it too and I don't see anything that resembles her laughing at the fate of the Americans. And again, pirates in 2009 is kind of humorous. I wonder if they have parrots. El Guapo 8
I heard it on the radio, did not see it. And it sounded bad to me. I am not comparing to Bush or anybody else, he had a plethora of speaking gaffes as well. Hilary Clinton has a history of inappropriate laughter, and for someone who is supposed to be our Secretary of State and representing our country in regards to foreign affairs, I hold anyone in that position to a high standard.FWIW I felt that same way when Bush I and Bush II said ridiculous stuff. Bill Clinton, Regan, Condi Rice, etc. would not have done this. It's not a huge deal by any means, I just found in inappropriate.

LongLiveYorke 38
Come on now. Please tell me I'm not the only one who hears pirates and sees this...Something tells me you're not the only one who hears the word "pirates" and thinks of the "Pirates of the Caribbean Movies." You know, because they both have the word "pirate" in the, and the movies grossed like a billion dollars total and all that.
