LBPoker15 0
I know there used to be alot of these topics back when before I actually joined here, but I also know this changes frequently. Does anyone know what cards work on Poker Stars? I e-mailed support, but they said they couldn't provide me with a list. I usually do deposits straight from my checking account, but I can't right now. Any help is appreciated.

Before they started accepting my debit card again, I was using the VISA prepaid cards, but it had to be the VISA "All Acess" gift card. A lof of stores including most grocery stores carry the "gift card mall" VISA's and Master Cards as well, those absolutely will NOT work...so make sure you grab the right one. Hope that's helpful and gl.

I usually do deposits straight from my checking account, but I can't right now. Any help is appreciated. Hmm. You sure you contacted them? Because they sent the following to me.Dear XXXXXXX,First of all, please apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding your query, although pre-paid cards have become a popular deposit option for many players at PokerStars, there are a limited number of pre-paid cards that are working with us. One such card available in the US is the "All Access" pre-paid card. You can buy "All Access" pre-paid cards at many local stores or gas stations. Please visit https://www.netspend.com/account/index.m to see a list of locations near you where you can buy either a gift or re-loadable card (please keep in mind that All Access ATM cards will not work on our site). The "All Access" re-loadable card charges up to $1.00 for purchases made with it. When depositing with a re-loadable card, please try for $1.00 less than the balance of the card to account for this charge. There is no charge for purchases made with the gift cards, but they have some fees you may need to consider for balances remaining, phone enquiries and others. To find out more about their fees please visit: https://www.allaccessgift.com/gift/faq.m****Important notice about the All Access reloadable cards****, please be aware that when you make a deposit using a prepaid reloadable card, the transactions are settled with your card issuer. This usually happens a few business days after the actual purchase was made; a second charge for the same amount may appear on your online statement, leaving one of the charges "On hold" for up to seven days for purchases under $100 and for up to thirty days for purchases over $100. This may occur even if the transaction is rejected. For online gaming transactions NetSpend, the issuer company of these cards will not remove this hold until the hold expires. Please be aware that this is something out of our control and there is nothing we can do to facilitate the removal of held funds in such cases. Once the hold period expires, the funds will return automatically to your reloadable card balance. Please keep in mind that in order to use these cards for online purchases they require activation, which can be done at the store, by calling the number on the back of the card or online at https://www.netspend.com/account/activation.m. It will take around 30 minutes for the card to become active. As we have no agreements with the financial institution that issue these cards, we cannot guarantee that they will continue working indefinitely. Such companies can implement restrictions for on-line gaming transactions without notice. If you use such a card to make a deposit at PokerStars you will be able to withdraw funds through a Cashier's Check which will be sent according to your instructions. Also, other players have found that it is easier and faster to deposit with our Instant eChecks option. If you would like to know more about this alternative, please visit:http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/real-money/echecksFor further help with this or any other deposit issue, please contact us at dad@pokerstars.com. If you prefer phone assistance, please provide a phone number and an appropriate time to call. Please also include on the subject line 'phone request' to contact you more quickly. We are available to help you 24 hours, 7 days a week. At PokerStars we are always here to help you, and we appreciate your loyalty.Regards,LuisPokerStars Deposit Assistance Department
LBPoker15 0
Interesting. Thanks Jeepster! I swear I e-mailed them and my response was to the effect of "Unfortunately I can't provide you a list, as it's dependant on what banks allow it yadda yadda yadda", even though I specified PRE-PAID cards and not regular debit cards. Again, thanks for the post.

Again, thanks for the post.Just giving you a hard time.My experience is that there are two options. One card that costs $5 which you can load with whatever amount up to a couple hundred or something similar. $5 cost. The other card costs $9, and you can load it with no cap and reload it for $2. ATM fees are several dollars, PIN transactions cost $3, sig transactions cost $1, so there are a lot of fees and such. If you purchase one of these, only use it for online poker, make your deposit a dollar less than what's on the card, don't use it to pay bills or anything else because there are tons of gift cards out there with no fees. LBPoker15 0
Alrighty! Got my deposit through so I can stop playing <$1 tournies and freerolls. I still don't have tons, but was wondering if a group of people wanted to do an afternoon barrage on a poker stars micro tourney. Didn't want to start another thread since I see that's kinda frowned upon unless it "contains substance" Anyone???
