Jam-Fly 8
Okay, I'll hopefully be getting back into these soon.Few questions/queries:-I haven't played seriously/consistently in about a year. Any tips as to how to refresh my game? I played live a few nights ago and I am definitely rusty. Alotta simple stuff I'm not doing right. Anything in particular I should read to get my head back in the game?-What kinda bankroll is reccommended? Specifically, for the $12 180s. I assume a $1,000 would be sufficient enough? Just wondering what others think. Also, number of buy-ins needed for the 45s.- Good ROI to aim for. Best hours for tourneys filling up. General advice for these types of tournaments specifically.Yeah that's basically it. Fairly out of practice, but I'm sure I'll get back into it fairly quickly. Cheers

CheersI'm not playing full time anymore but I can def answer your questions.-If you belong to a poker training site, watch a bunch of videos on MTT's and Sit n go's. If you don't, read poker books to refresh your memory.-If you are going to play turbos, the bigger the bankroll the better. I've been a winning player my whole life buy I'm in the midst of a 90 buyin downswing. The variance in turbos are insane. If you're going to grind turbo 180s I suggest at least 200 buyins, if not 300. (not joking)-My ROI is still around 20% lifetime in pushbot tournies despite this downswing. Anything above 20% is good/great. And the best time of day is when most people are getting off work. You are in Ireland, so I would say around 9 or 10 PM for you. Weekends attract a lot of fish.-If you have anymore questions don't be afraid to ask. :)Robertedit: general advice would to be very, very tight and play big hands. Players in these overplay TPTK so if you can flop anything decent you can easily stack someone. In the first two or three levels I play TT+, AQo+, AJs, and will limp a small pair or a decent suited connector if it's cheap. If you get a big stack you can push people around. The final two tables is where you can accumulate the most chips.
