I thought a thread like this would be awesome. I used to grind 45 and 180s for a while but tired of the grind and quit playing, mainly to focus on graduating. It's been about a year since I put in any decent volume and I'm itching to getting back to the grind. Here are my results from 2008 in 45 man turbos on PS. I hope to continue my GREAT SUCCESS!Username Games Played Av. Profit Av. Stake Av. ROI Total Profit Form Network Filter omg im l337 697 $1 $3 28% $432 Tilt PokerStars E45-45

What's considered good for roi? I have a 35% roi for tournaments with 2000+ entrants. Is that good or bad?
Sample size is required to give you a true answer here. 35% over 20 events does not equal 35% over 2,000 events.I think I'm around 17% (22% over last 120 days), and the latter is good enough for a 7 star on OPR.

What exactly is a "pushbot"?
A pushbot generally refers to someone who mega-multitables (anywhere from 4 to 32) turbo SNGs, usually of the 45 man and 180 man variety. Right now I run 4-9 but that is because I have math homework to do every night so my volume is cut. Once summer hits I will be 12-16 tabling. The term "pushbot" is because the general strategy of play adopted by them is to not do much post flop play, so once they hit about 10 BBs left (it's a turbo, so pretty quick) the play becomes shove/fold to either double up or steal blinds and antes until it's over. It is a highly successful money-making strategy if done right.I, for example, am a pushbot. :club:

not exactly a pushbot, but i do have pretty decent sharkscope stats. i really dont have enough time to play long hours continously, but i have been trying to improve my mtts. basically, every copper i have made in SnG's has been wasted in mtts. anybody have any ideas off the top of their heads why whatever success in SnG's doesn't translate into mtts. I have worked on a couple of themes (bet sizing, hand selection and positional pushing) and my mtt results have gotten marginally better. Any help would be appreciated.Username Games Played Av. Congrats on the profit GGW, what buy ins are you playing?Today I was a pushbot in the penny hyperturbos I have 500% ROI after two tournaments, I think I'll retire while I am aheadThe 1.10 45 and 90 turbos are soft, they are making me a ton of money (relative)

Personally I like the 3.00 + 30 90 Person Turbo Knockout Double Stacks. Not too difficult to hit the final table and first place is 72. Run a few of them at the same time and you can a decent amount in a short while. Not too mention Knock Out cash which (if you happen to lose) usually pays back most of your buy in. I'd be playing them right now if I had cash on full tilt.

Tyty :club:. I play anywhere from $1-$6. My avg buyin was around 3.30 last week. Today I'm playing mostly $6 and 2 $12's. I finished 7th in one of them (45 man)

I've won 5 or 6 of the $3 KO tournies on FTP. Very soft. Plus I knock about 9 or 10 people on way to winning.
