You're way ahead of CO, so all we have to worry about is MP1 and MP2. To showdown with them we are only risking half our stack and there are only 2 hands that bother us. I really can't find any reason to fold here. I reraise all in and make MP1 & 2 risk their tourney to come along.

I disagree with this. If CO has an A or K and one of the MPs calls with any pair, we're not in real decent shape. pokenum -h ah ks - ad 8c - 7c 7d Holdem Hi: 1370754 enumerated boardscards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EVKs Ah 490367 35.77 852162 62.17 28225 2.06 0.3688c Ad 247890 18.08 1094639 79.86 28225 2.06 0.1917c 7d 604272 44.08 763359 55.69 3123 0.23 0.442Worst case, one of them has us destroyedpokenum -h ah ks - qs 5d - ac as Holdem Hi: 1370754 enumerated boardscards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EVKs Ah 79536 5.80 1276004 93.09 15214 1.11 0.063Qs 5d 182114 13.29 1184333 86.40 4307 0.31 0.134As Ac 1093890 79.80 261650 19.09 15214 1.11 0.803So to say you see no reason to fold here, is silliness. I can't nmuch much of a case to play it at all. Why risk your table lead here?

So even if one of our outs is covered we are still 35% against a PP assuming one of the other two come along. If we are going to assume that, then we are risking 3500 to win a 10k pot. Pretty close. CO really seems intent on giving his chips away, why not take this opportunity to try and take them? As for the worst case...we can't be afraid of monsters under the bed. My worst case would be two of us with AK vs a pp. I really think that gives the maniac here too much credit. What are the odds of AK vs two pp? Will small/mid pp's risk their tourney here?

Worse comes to worse, you are coin flipping usually. This guy probably has QQ+, therefore if AA/KK, you are ****ed. Shover could also have 88-JJ, as this is a donkament of sureme proportionsI realise calling is often the "thing to do" with AK, but it's early. I advocate a fold, but it's pretty close.

I can think of one... we have 30 invested and there's already a raise, reraise and an all in. I turbo-muck AK here and don't think twice about it.

Bunch of nits! :club: Ok fine, I was in a chip spewing mood yesterday as evidenced by my play.nh
lol, it's funny because I make comments about other people's hands after the fact, but then I shove like 25 bbs to a button raise w/ A9o and get snapped off by QQ... and goodbye neg-o. I was playing so l33t in that tourney, too.Good fold tosh.

I'm not worried about the maniac here because he probably has some trash we crush. I'm worried about the 3bettor, who probably has a decent PP, is ahead of us preflop and could well call, knowing the maniac's probably empty and perhaps thinking we're shoving a bit light to try and isolate the maniac and that his PP could have an edge here. And that belies the original raiser, who (while unlikely) could possibly have something worth calling with (like AA-QQ) as well.AKo is strong heads up but I treat it like AQo in a multiway 4bet pot at the 15/30 level. Let them have it.
