You only really beat a bluff though don't you? I can't see how this isn't a bluff or at least a Q.I'd prefer a b/f for $14 on the turn.

Our turn check is a little stop and go and looks to the villain like AQ or overs maybe. His river bet is extremely thin value bet or a desperation mini-bluff. I think if we're betting calling the turn, we have to call the river. I wouldn't be surprised to see QT QJ range show up in villain's hand.EDIT: moneyball is right. We have to bet the turn like everytime.

I'd bet turn if my hand was a little bit worse. I think betting turn is okay, to try and protect hand against flush draws, 34, but I think checking is a fine option as well. If we bet turn here, a lot of the time we are done trying to get value, and it's only a bet that folds worse hands and gets calls from better hands. For the most part I think bet/fold lines are overrated, as well. Once you bet/fold with some frequency I think you're opening up a pretty big hole, not really an exploitable hole to a 42/10/0.5 though.

I think the turn is a pretty standard b/f against this opponent. If I check the turn, it's with the intention of folding versus villain. I'd never expect someone this passive to bet worse hands than me.I'd bet $10-$12 on the turn and fold to a raise.
