I_fold08 1
ESPN's WSOP Europe Coverage Debuts to US ViewersNot interested in the Super Bowl? Or at least more interested in some brand new poker highlights? ESPN debuts its coverage of the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe on Sunday, running four consecutive hours of coverage from 6-10 pm ET on Sunday. If your TIVO isn't working, don't despair: encore presentations will air later on Sunday nights on ESPN2. Coverage continues Feb 8th, 15th, and March 1st.should be good if the superbowl is a blow out or you dont like football

TheCinciKid 0
damnit...I'm TDY and don't have a DVR. Bleh, guess I'll have to miss this for the Super Bowl. Would be nice if ESPN picked a better slot. This slot pretty much guarantees them virtually no viewership.

GWCGWC 83
My ESPN feed tomorrow night has some different 2008 WSOP episodes but there's 3 hours of the WSOPE on ESPN2. weird
mrpaddyx 13
They have been showing the highlights over here (UK) for a few weeks now. I guess its the ESPN coverage they are using as its Lon McEachern and Norman Chad doing the main commentry. The only really annoying bits is when they splice in some talk from some British guys who are awful.

I don't think they counted non-WSOP tournament winnings.

slink 1
There was one scene at a table (in the first hour) where you could hear a Helmuthian spew at another table, wish they would've shown that.

ReraiseAllIn 0
Why does it look like some players are sweating their asses off?Are they playing in a poker room or a sauna?Apparently Europe doesn't subscribe to to the USA poker room temperature management philosophy. Max temperature of 55 degrees even in the middle of summer.
