mtdesmoines 3
This doesn't work cause DNA originally did the %'s based on 200% with the 70% and 60% for first counting in that 200. The other prize pool needs to add up to 100%. With the current calculations it only adds up to 70%. Also, you don't want to add player 1 and 2's together before they take their cut. They probably just need to get a % of each other that is taken out prior to the non-participant prize pool is determined.Someone just patch together a quick little MSXcel spreadsheet. Just a suggestion since I'm not playing but did read the entire thread.......Why not run it as 2 groups of twenty and have two winners? That would totally eliminate trying to figure out percentages for each WSOP ticket holder, however you would only have a stake in the winner of your group of 20. Just throwing it out there......I was thinking the same. Two tourneys and the games would take half as long each night (or so).
dna4ever 2
OK I have sobered up and this was not as hard as I was making it out to be.Basically there are two matrixes, one for each seat since the first seat is keeping a larger percentage of their win than the 2nd seat is.I am going to get this online sometime this evening, but here is an example of how it will look.Basically the seats do not get any pieces of each other. First seat gets 70% of their win and the other 30% is spread between 3rd - 40th spot and the second seat gets to keep 60% of their win and the other 40% is spread between 3rd - 40th spot.Here is what the math looks like when broken down ....Finish | 1st Seat | 2nd Seat1 | 70.00% | 0.00%2 | 0.00% | 60.00%3 | 3.00% | 5.00%4 | 2.25% | 4.00%5 | 2.00% | 3.50%6 | 1.75% | 3.00%7 | 1.50% | 2.50%8 | 1.25% | 2.00%9 | 1.25% | 1.75%10 | 1.25% | 1.50%11 | 1.00% | 1.25%12 | 1.00% | 1.25%13 | 1.00% | 1.00%14 | 0.75% | 1.00%15 | 0.75% | 1.00%16 | 0.75% | 0.75%17 | 0.75% | 0.75%18 | 0.75% | 0.75%19 | 0.75% | 0.75%20 | 0.75% | 0.75%21 | 0.50% | 0.50%22 | 0.50% | 0.50%23 | 0.50% | 0.50%24 | 0.50% | 0.50%25 | 0.50% | 0.50%26 | 0.50% | 0.50%27 | 0.50% | 0.50%28 | 0.50% | 0.50%29 | 0.50% | 0.50%30 | 0.50% | 0.50%31 | 0.25% | 0.25%32 | 0.25% | 0.25%33 | 0.25% | 0.25%34 | 0.25% | 0.25%35 | 0.25% | 0.25%36 | 0.25% | 0.25%37 | 0.25% | 0.25%38 | 0.25% | 0.25%39 | 0.25% | 0.25%40 | 0.25% | 0.25%So under this scenario if both seat 1 and seat 2 cashes they keep their respective 70% and 60% and for example the 9th place over all winner would get 1.25% of seat 1's cash and 1.75% of seat 2s cash.Need to get everyone that has signed up to transfer their $55 and we still have about 10 spots open. I would like to have this buttoned up by the middle of the week so I can go ahead and get the tournaments created and get the passwords to everyone.I will go ahead and create all 11 tournaments and will make the recommendation that everyone involved goes ahead and registered for all 11 in advance (assuming it doesnt do something silly like only allow registration 24 hours in advance). This way no one will forget one week.
dna4ever 2
Here is where the results will be kept every week ....http://www.negreanuopen.com/wsop/fcpwsop.htmlIf you see your FCP name, but do not see your Pokerstars name it doesn't mean I don't know your Pokerstars name; it just means that I havent received your initial $55 deposit. The "transferred" column by everyones name is my way to keep track if the people who won each week transferred their winnings to me for the pool. RDog 0
Only issue I see is them not getting pieces of the other person. Cause just say that Seat 1 wins 700k. Everyone in the group except Seat 2 is going to get a decent amount of money.

Everyone in the group except Seat 2 is going to get a decent amount of money.I believe this was discussed and the majority agreed that the Seat, the $700 travel expenses, and the WSOP experience was enough payment and they controlled their own destiny by doing well in the tourny.I am fine with renegotiating this, but this seems fair to me. If Seat 1 goes and donks out and Seat 2 cashes then Seat 1 would not get a piece of Seat 2 under the current distribution.

I dont get on here cuz I Like to read or write, or make online friends. I get on here cuz I love poker and like to chat about it and that doesnt really exist in my real world outside of my brother. I have been paying my billz by grinding online and in vegas for 2years now, but have been playing and winning online since planet poker and have been working towards this being my main income source for more than 5 years now. I believe I give the group a great chance of scoring a piece of me if i qualify.Ive never booked a losing month in my career. I take poker very seriously and the wsop is my #1 interest in life.gonna deposit on stars immediately and ship when they let me, i think i have to wait a bit after a deposit. if the couple day wait is a problem, i guess i can do a ftp to stars switch if someone wants to do that for me. paigowtommy 0
I'd love to get in this as I enjoy playing in these leagues. I just started playing in the Negreanu Open this past week, stumbled upon it in the private tourneys on PS.I understand I am a newbie on here, so I would be willing to ship the entire $120, no problem. Please let me know! Thanks.p.s. I final tabled the RAZZ tourney back in 2006, and already have my room booked for the Rio for June 10-16 this year. Now if only they release the schedules - this week I hear. dna4ever 2
I would love to get in this but doubt I post enough. I've done a tranfer with Ship It (I think) on here before but regardless would be willing to ship the whole 110 tomorrow and wait until the end to get my $55 in entries back. Let me know.We are going to wait on 'unknowns' right now for this tourny. I'm sure we will be doing things like this again. Nothing personal at all. May be a good time to get more involved in other parts of the forum and build a little bit of a reputation on here.I've already turned down 9 people through private message so I dont want you to think I'm singling you.Can i join?not sure if a lot of people know me, i get on here to talk poker news mostly, strategy a couple times, and sports bets sometimes. JubilantLankyLad 1,957
I've been pondering it since the OP, but I cannot picture a way that I could play in all 11 tourneys early on sundays, unfortunately. Great idea though DNA, and if you want to do a nightowl version (like say 9PM PST), then I'd be listening.Good luck to everyone.
paigowtommy 0
No problem, this actually gives me the idea for running my own league. 6 of my friends are going to Vegas with me, so we can all throw in $215 and play 11 SNG's, winner take all for $1500, since we don't need the extra spending cash. Thanks for the idea!

dreamcaster 0
The seat winner second horse percentage doesn't need to be any higher than 3rd players percentages if that allows a better cut to others.1st | Seat - 70.00% | 5.00%2nd | 3.00% | Seat - 60.00%could be...1st | Seat - 70.00% | 4.00%2nd | 2.5% | Seat - 60.00%then again, you could ticker forever to make everybody happy. cubsfan44 0
What about having 2 seperate 20 man tournies each week but randomly choose who plays in each that way we only have to play 20 man tournies (shorter) but still get to have 40 players?
