Balloon guy 158
the joker obama is surpassed in stupidity by only the joker HITLER obamaSpeaking strictly from a sociology perspective the Joker-Obama is a culturally relevant connection of two perfectly legitimate areas of popular culture being morphed to speak of the similarities of the two, while revealing the differences in a powerful way.In Obama we have a man who came from nowhere and achieved the height of his profession. In the joker we have a man who came from nowhere and also achieved the height of his profession. In Obama we have a man with no regard for other people's moneyIn the Joker we have a man who also has no regard for other people's moneyIn the Joker we have an actor who was rich and used his excess to buy drugs that killed him.In Obama we have an actor who used drugs, then wrote about it to get rich, and found fame to be as powerful a drug as cocaine. In the joker we have a a figure that young people can idolize because they don't think of the consequences of their idolatryIn Obama we have a figure that young people did idolize because they didn't think of the consequences of their idolatry

Supermax prisons are set up to limit the mixing so to speak. Guantanamo was not doing us any favors either and we need to put them somewhere. A supermax prison makes the most sense. No one has ever escaped from a supermax prison. This is just you being a little scared. That's natural. Just try to go to a happy place.

I am worried about Terroists inter mingling with our prison population, using it as a recruitment ground for Anti-American sentiment. Guantanamo Bay was set up for the exact reason it has been used. Just because it's had bad press doesn't mean it has stopped serving its purpose.

akoff 0
yeah which one of us is most beholden to one party's ideals? hint: the guy who promotes his beliefs in his sig. is it a grape flavor? The key though is that mine are right and....oh you get the point. The funny thing is outside of National Defence and fiscal policy i am pretty independent...i really don't give a damn about much cept for government keeping hands out of pockets and business in general. I have personal opinions but on some of the social issues but nearly as conservative as BG.The biggest issue I had with GB was fiscal....now with BHO i have many more issues but if he would stop being a socialist I could overlook many of his other flaws!! Not all of them cause that is just not reasonable.Want to double that bet on a 2nd term??

This is just you being a little scared. That's natural. Just try to go to a happy place.I think you are right that them being in a supermax is not a real issue because their days will be 23 hours of solitary, one hour of basketball court without a basketball.I personally don't like the idea that they get their day in court if that means they get to have a lawyer, and they get to use the court trial as a sounding board to get any message out. Fact is the mere picture of them in a court filled with 'hostile' westerners will be a propagandist poster of the poor muslim being tried by the great satan, and if they get to speak and their speech gets broadcasts in either print or God forbid on the TV, then we are basically ensuring the thing you liberals have been accusing Bush of for 8 years, creating new terrorist. Now if they try them behind closed doors, and nothing they say is EVER released, and then we kill them in a reasonable amount of time, then I will admit I was wrong and this worked out as best as it could. What do you think the chances of that are happening? And if it does, what are the chances I won't accuse your side of rushing to kill these people when they were in relatively ideal situation in Gitmo with their religious freedoms and food and sunshine? The biggest threat is the terrorists that we *haven't* caught yet, coming here on some mission of martyrdom to free these guys. What weapons will they bring to US soil?On the bright side, there's probably a good chance that some of these prisoners will accidentally be left with some death row multiple violent offender, and that violent offender will somehow have gotten hold of a weapon.... oops, sorry Abdul, we'll tighten security real soon so that can't happen again. But good point.BG, if you let them have their day they will make it into propoganda and if you do not let them have their day they will turn that refusal into propoganda. Catch-22. It would be announced (by the imams, Ayatollahs, Al-Jezeera, and MSNBC) that the cowardly pig-dog Americans lacked the courage to try Muslim freedom fighters in open court preferring instead to suppress their innocence and their rights by shoving them into a dark hole in Cuba waiting to be executed. If you read a couple All In posts, you will get the hang of it.
