James D 0
Speaking as someone from the North of England I think it's my duty to say something about the closing down of all the coal mines..so there..Exactly. And we all know that Northerners belong in coal mines, so it was a terrible development that they're allowed to live out and about, with normal people.

rcgs59 15
looking at your reply from the previous page my orginial thought should of stated what was it like or do you recall the feelings felt on the day Thatcher took the pledge of PM. Most likely you were to young. But I did turn it to more a gender issue. Just to show that prejudgements just don't happen in race but often happen in sex, age, culture and other area's. You made a very good point that they should be focusing on the issues at hand but all the media are focusing on are the baisis. Gallo also made a point that now that this had occured in history maybe the barrier will open up to a more wider acceptance of others, even perhaps some form of peace. Well that's my thoughts on it. As for Margaret Thatcher I did not agree on any of her policies. I do have to give her credit on the breakdown of the Soviet Union. As a woman I am torn as I see brilliance, courage but I also see manipulation, dishonesty, distrust and lost of loyality. She has numerous qualites that I admire yet dislike. As a Obama supporter I am sure that he is not perfect either. I do hope and dream that he proceeds to change at least one or two issues in his terms as president.
