BigDMcGee 3,355
In this orderHachemEastgateRaymerVarkoniYang Moneymaker and Gold are the luckiest sobs ever and need another miracle to win another bracelet.obviously you don't remember Varnoki I think it's Raymer AINEC... if it was "who is most likely to win another NL event" then it would probably be Hatchem, butI think GR probably has the most complete game, and could win a bracelet in a small field Studhi/lo tournament or something

GeneralGeeWhiz 0
raymer was the best ME champ of the past six years imo

I have no idea how he plays games other than NL Holdem though.
Wandigo 1
FYI Eastgate won the 5k event at PCA last week for 340k. Not a bad way to follow up a WSOP ME win imo. Although he really doesn't get even close to the attention that past winners like Raymer and Hachem have got. He would be walking around the tournament room just looking very lost and nobody stopped to talk to him. Even at the airport he didn't get any recognition whatsoever, although the one time I talked to him at the hotel he seemed like a real humble and nice guy, can't help but wish him the best. That's why I put him at the end and not with gold yang and moneymaker. It wouldn't be fair for me to throw him in that category if I don't have the slightest clue of the strength of his game. Biff Goods 0
Is it just me or is Hachem's PS commercial look like he has never played Basketball a day in his life. A friend of mine and I have a theory that the meeting with the PokerStars BigWigs when a little something like this..PS: So Joe, we are gonna shoot a commercial with you playing poker and another sport. We are gonna try and show the similarities between the two..Do you have any other sports in mind you could play? JH: I play Pokah. PS: .......yeeeah. Um. But do you know how to play any other games? JH: I play a mean game of Pokah.....?PS: Right...but like...you know Michael Jordan was a basketball player and also he tried baseball? What kind of player are you? JH: Oh right.....I get it....I'm a Pokah Playa. PS: Ok....so let's go with basketball and see what that looks like.

I have no idea how he plays games other than NL Holdem though. You see, the beauty of the WSOP is: you only have to know unlimited hold 'em to play in 15-20+ bracelet events. Part of the real Hellmuth never won a bracelet outside Hold Em is because, simply, he's never needed to. Is it just me or is Hachem's PS commercial look like he has never played Basketball a day in his life. That's weird, cuz Daniel sure looked like a professional boxer in the last one. On a side note, I'm sure when they asked Vanessa Rousso about her commercial, her first brainstorm was: "Well, a bunch of people have told me to jump off a bridge..." Cappy37 0
One impressive thing about that list is, besides Varkoyni and Yang, it's a list of pretty solid (if unspectacular) players.I'd probably go with Raymer, too, if only because Hachem seems a bit too emotional. I really cant envision Gold winning anything again, although I do hope (if only for his sanity/legacy) Moneymaker breaks through again and emerges victorious from years upon years of criticism lol. UncleBill 0
it's just counting. you should try itDon't even have to count. 20 x 100 = 2,000As for the actual topic, I'll take Eastgate.NyQuil kicking in. Nite.

XXEddie 0
1. Eastgate2. Hachem (Would have won one if Dutch Boyd wasnt a super luckbox)3. Raymer (Like others have said he is a good mixed game player. Remember he won a PLO WCOOP event 2 years ago i think)Gold, Moneymaker, Varkonyi and Yang are all luckboxes and I will be surprised if they make a deep run anytime soon. ziioo 0
I can't pick a clear fave between Hachem, Raymer and Eastgate. If Eastgate is actually the shit - no doubt he ran well in the main event, but proved a lot at the PCA, with a bit more experience he might be right up there - he could win a few. Moneymaker is my dark horse.
blakheart 3
In order of ability I would rank them in this orderEastgateHachemRaymerMoneymakerGold YangVarkoniHowever Raymer may mover up since the top two guys live out of the country and may not play as muchMoneymaker tries to hard to play correctly inmo, I think when he loosens up a little he will win again. Out loud. TY. I'm going with Moneymaker. I think it would be a great story for the general poker public. How many people got into the game because he showed that anyone could do it. Imagine the comeback story 6-7 years later. Hopefully it's right after they legalize and tax online poker. I guess the chances of either happening are about the same. Back to the pipe.
