I don't see how I could've folded, but deep inside I knew I was beat. Blahhh.Once the money went in I said "you have queens full", Daniel responds, "Yea" just like it was a normal conversation. gl KidPoker

I have 18,975 chips going into Day 2 of the 10k main event!! I had no spots at all and very few hands all day and my peak was only about 27k. I smooth called a button raise in the last level with QQ and lost about 7k on a 942KK board to AK but would have busted if I 3 bet him! Guess I'm pretty much freerolling now!Day 2 starts tomorrow at noon! :4h:D :D :ts:5c:club::D:3h

Daniel has slipped some from the start of the day but he's still in good shape. He has 73,800 chips, that's about 25,000 more than the average sack. Antonio Esfandiari is the current chip leader.

I find this amusing.Brett Shaffer showed up to the tournament for the first time in the second level of Day 2 (earlier today around 2:00 pm) with only about 2,500 left of his original stack of 20,000. Let's pause a moment and consider what a great structure this tournament has for a player to skip the first seven levels entirely and still have chips left. Another tip of the hat to Matt Savage and his tournament staff here at Commerce Casino. If you'll remember, Shaffer quickly built his stack up to about 12,000, which annoyed Hellmuth, who had nearly the same amount at the time. In the last level, Shaffer got it all in preflop with AK against another player's AQ. The board came KQJ29, and Shaffer doubled up to about 24,000. A few minutes ago, Shaffer put in the fourth bet against Hellmuth preflop, moving all in. Hellmuth folded, and Shaffer took that pot to build up to about 32,500. Hellmuth is still down in the 12,500 range, and he can't be too pleased about that.

I never was so card dead in my life in this tournament and played my absolute A game given my stack size. I got it in halfway through last level of the day for about 42k pot with AhQc vs AcJd and it came T43ccc 3 8c. GL DN.
