ABigMotivation 0
I wouldnt bet the pot, because any raise on his part commits him and you have to call. Bet less, like 350 or so. As played, I call here and not be suprised to see 77.
MovingIn 0
With a multiway pot, that flop lead should have been smaller, like 300 or so. Then, if he makes the crazygonuts c/r, it's easier to bail if you think he's got a better piece of the flop.
DonkSlayer 1
Showing me in the HH that a 3 came on the turn makes me not want to answer.

SlackerInc 0
bet like 380 and don't fold to 1 person. ever.Really? What if your stats indicate that the one person is a rock, who always goes to showdown solid?
rdtedm 0
Really? What if your stats indicate that the one person is a rock, who always goes to showdown solid?I don't think a rock takes this line from the BB. And I'm sure loosh's comment was within reason. Gallo 1
Really? What if your stats indicate that the one person is a rock, who always goes to showdown solid? When you guys use stats ( I don't mean just you Slacker), are these stats just from this game or from stats gathered every time you have played with the person? rdtedm 0
When you guys use stats ( I don't mean just you Slacker), are these stats just from this game or from stats gathered every time you have played with the person?I'd assume everytime you've played with the person, since theoretically you should have notes on them if their play caught your attention in the past. Everytime I see a showdown hand that surprises me I take notes.

Everytime I see a showdown hand that surprises me I take notes.Yeah, I keep notes on players, but I don't use Poker Tracker or Tournament Director or any type of program. Just wondering more or less about how the stats are used. I mean the thing is that a player can change their style any given day and that could really throw a monkey wrench into the stats. I mean I remember when my game play totally changed, I still have a few habits or plays, but it has changed alot.I'll also compare my notes to how the person is playing currently if I play with them again. Do those of you that use programs also keep notes on the players?

I use pokertracker to keep track of my sngs/tournies for stars, but I don't really use the notes function much. In a vacuum, when you play MTTs at the lower stakes, it's probably better to use any impressions/reads you gain from the person from that tournament. Notes from the past can be helpful though, too.FWIW, I have yet to be sat at a table in a $10-$25 MTT with someone who I have previous notes on (other than stats). For SNG's, notes are much more useful because you'll see the people much more often if you grind them.
SlackerInc 0
The software I use (Tournament Indicator) displays stats from the current session in the main window, but you can double click a player's name to see stats from all the times you've played with them over the past 30 days.I do also use notes when I see something particularly, uh, notable; but for the most part I just rely on the software as I multitable and don't have much time to take notes.
