In order to achieve this, even at a win rate of 5BB/100 hands, you would have to play at least 75 hands a day, every day, for three straight years. Now that might not be that difficult to fit into most people's schedules, but given what Daniel does both in and out of poker, I find it difficult to believe that is going to happen, especially since he's been averaging about 25 hands/day so far.

OK, so I'm starting with $10 and playing ring game NL hold'em online at PokerStars. A few rules:1. I won't move up in limits unless I have 500 big blinds for that limit. I'm starting at $0.01-$0.02 w

Been busy but just put in a session.
Hi DN. I met a dealer at poker room in CA last night who claimed to know you. Said he used to be a pro and was at the 2001 WSOP Main Event final table. Went by the name "Country." Just wondering if you can confirm whether or not the guy was telling the truth.

Daniel, I'd like to know when do u decide to quit a session ?. when u're just bored, or else? And I also want to know if u play at just one table, or if u play at more tables at the same time.

Nice job on making to NL100 so quickly. I actually busted out at this level a month ago having reached $785 total bankroll. I had position on some fish who was playing 80% of his hands, never folding, limp calling anything, calling flops with jack high for no reason whatsoever, and hitting insane suckouts like runner runner trips on the river etc. I tilted off over half my roll just attacking him. By then I was so steamed that when I did move down to NL50, I couldnt hold it together, tilted off some more, dropped to NL25 the next day, and then went on a bad run.Technically I still have $25 left which I've decided to just play NL2 with and grind up doing it oldskoo', mass multi-tabling. So far I'm at $45 now so I guess it's a start. I'm just way too emotional to be able to play on such a limited bankroll and have major tilt issues. 20 buyins minimum is the only way to avoid bankruptcy for me.

Thanks Javi.I've been on one hell of a run lately.Keep on plugging at it. I've been on a number of those "tilt" experiences before. I find that I have to not play for 1 week before I can refocus and rebuild. Pokerstars has a great "lock me out" feature that won't even let you login anymore, if you don't have the will power. I've hit that point before too.

I've figured out how to beat those fish that play 80% of their hands, never folding, limp calling anything, calling flops with jack high for no reason whatsoever, and hitting insane suckouts like runner runner trips on the river etc.I move to another table. I can never blow off my stack to them then. Works every time. :club:

You met Country at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez and he was absolutely telling the truth. He's a great guy and a helluva dealer and I understand he may have a story or two about Daniel and some of the other big names. That casino was also the home casino of Jeff Madsen.

I wont deny that these guys are supposed to be gold mines. I mean seriously he calls $10 preflop raise out of position at .50/1.00 with 82o. Hits NOTHING on the flop, no draw, no pair, nothing whatsoever, calls $20 cbet. Hits a DEUCE on the turn, and brings in a flush draw, an EIGHT HIGH flush draw. I bet the turn again, HE INSTANTLY SHOVES. Hits his flush on the river. Remember, he had NO draw on the flop. I'm just dumbfounded like wtf?!? I think I had a set of Jacks in that one. These guys actually are quite beatable, you just have to play tight, and I mean real tight against them. I've stacked them plenty of times before. Problem was because I knew this guy was so stupid I could raise pratically anything against him and know I was ahead. So I kept raising him with A5o, K7s, JTo, 68s, etc etc. These hands are definitely ahead of his range, but they're hit or miss only type of hands. Very hard to play postflop. So I kind of brought it on myself. If I had just stuck to pocket pairs, big broadway cards etc, I'm sure I would have done much better. I just had position on him the whole time, nobody else at the table was interfering, so I kept getting it heads up against him, and I got greedy trying to hammer him every chance I got.

I don't care who you are, when you are playing on pokerstars the bad beats will eat you alive. If you lose are you going to tell us or are you just going to put money in your account and start where you left off. Just remember the bigger the poker names on the site the donkier the site, because pokerstars sucks ass. I just went back and the first 3 hands I played I got sucked out twice, both on the river and one of those was runner runner, my KK vs donkeys K9 and he hit the pokerstars special 4card str8. they love the 4 card str8's and flush. I'll start cheering for you again when you get away from the shit site. and if you have any pull why not tell them to spend a little of there billions and improve there site, I mean look at some other sites out. there site is the same as it was 2 years ago, its a joke

Yes, they're gold mines, and quite beatable, but the problem is, you get so wrapped up in trying to stack these idiots that you start playing badly. Isn't worth it to me.

Exactly. I've been trying to adhere to a 2 BI stoploss to avoid tilt but havent quite gotten there yet.

Daniel is currently playing at a .05/.10 table, and I managed to get there right as he was starting. I made it to first in line on the waiting list, and to my horror it told me there was an open seat when there wasn't. Tragically, it gave me a minute to take my seat, but no one left during the minute so there was no seat to take. Just another example of Pokerstars crushing my dreams, haha. Good luck Daniel, maybe someday I can make it back to the top of the list when the system isn't screwed up. I just hope it happens before you climb out of my bankroll level =).
