ROACHBABY 0
I bought it a little over a year ago to use mainly for cash games, but for SNG's and MTT's also. I have probably opened the Tournament tab 3x's in the past six months. It just was never that useful for me, and I had a lot of problems importing SNG results from some of the poker sites. So, IMO, I don't think PT is worth it for SNGs and MTTs.

GWCGWC 83
I've been using it for cash games for a few years. It's worth it for this application. I'd like to figure out how to track my Stars sng and mtt results through PT but I just looked at it again and gave up. Apparently, I have a hard time following not so simple instructions from computer programmers.
sight 0
okei then guys, i dont even know exactly how it works so guess ur right
outsider13 0
I think it's worth it for sure. Stats are very useful and if you import tournament summaries (finishing position, cash won..) it can be very useful. If you are just using it as a HUD, you can probably get away with some of the free tools that are available.I think though if people actually imported tournament summaries, they'd probably find it's a lot more useful for reporting and graphs than OPR. For Stars, it's a bit of work though: unless I'm missing some easier way to do it, you have to request your tournament histories in the client and then import them by hand. Problem is that you want to do this after the tournament has finished to get everybody's position right, so you have to wait for a few hours after you bust out of a tournament. Then of course you forget to do this, and after a while your database becomes a mess. (Especially when you play rebuys and have to enter by hand how many times you rebought.) To solve this, you can request your last xxx tournament histories once in a while, but then it's harder to keep track of number of rebuys etc. On Tilt, at least the saving and importing of tournament histories go automatically. But yes, if you are willing to do some work for it, it is a great way to track your (and other's) stats and combined with the HUD function definitely worth the money. From there click auto request tournament summaries and you should be able to figure it out from there. You have to then import them from your email. Not sure if that's any easier, but I only import mine every few weeks and it imports them all.

PT3 has a import from email option on their beta version, but it basically acts as your email client. If you've already received the email in your default client, PT3 won't import it. Still the easiest way is to c&p the info into a txt file and do a manual import. It only takes a min or two, so no big deal.
Stiles2004 0
I'm at work and can't open PS software, but is there an option to automatically have tournament summary sent? That way I wont forget after busting very very far from the end...
